Those eyes
So big and caring
Held too many lies
All happiness drained
Non-sparkly and dull
Showing they were pained
No longer wet
Tears couldn't come
It just didn't set
Given up
Losing hope
Feeling like an empty cup
Using excuses
To cover the pain up
So many uses
