This is not to offend anyone if it does I'm sorry

As girls we grow
Knowing that our time is coming

From our mothers we learn how to sew
Mother always said we'd need to know how

From our grandparents we learn how to cook
They say it's for our future husband and kids

That gift was one that God took
I can't even make simple eggs

We learned that it's our fault if our bra straps  showing
Why would the blame ever be placed on the perverted boys looking

Some guys think us girls shouldn't be in the knowing
Instead stay home all day and clean up their mess

I can barely do the dishes without gagging
I'm not that kind of person

Sure I'm lagging
Know that I'm saving your share for you

One day I hope we could live fairly
Instead of just making it barely

I never want to hear or see a boy tell a girl that they should do what they're to lazy to do or even dare speak of how we're just girls and the only things we can do is the household stuff. No boy should think or assume that girls are weak. We are strong in our own way,

This is not all boys and some girls may not be taught to do these things. I know I wasn't, but this was inspired from my past and present by mostly my parents.

I was personally told my place is in a house with a guy who wants me to do the household chores and have our kids. Sorry, but to that person who said this I can't cook nor do I clean the dishes or YOUR messes. I will clean up my mess and guests messes, but you live there too so do your share and I'll do mine.

Lesson- Never assume things or go by stereotypes
