"You are dead, Agamemnon, I wouldn't be making threats."

Chiron stands tall, hand on his shoulder. He leads him away, down the stairs into the basement.

I lean into Percy, " That's two ghosts in the span of two hours, something's definitely going on." I say as Briseis slowly sinks back into the couch, blowing out a breath of relief. Percy nods.

"What's happening?" He asks. Like I know. For once me and Percy and equally ignorant, and that fact bewilders me and also terrifies me." Do you think more will start to show up?" He questions. I do not have an answer for him, so I shrug. Briseis watches our conversation confused, and starts to speak.

"What is the language you are speaking?" She says. I reply back, startled. There isn't a word in Greek, so I just say it in English. "English"

"English?" She says, her accent heavy but her pronunciation spot on. I nod, and she smiles with satisfaction. "I was always good at picking up new languages, I did have to learn Greek..." She trails off, lost in thought.

I had read the Iliad in the original Greek form, and I knew of my moms involvement, so I figured She would know what was happening. I bid Percy adieu and headed outside to speak with my mother. She was already waiting for me when I walked outside of the door of the big house, Standing tall, with her gray eyes bright.

"The dead are reappearing mother, do you know of this?" She looked at me with a critical eye and after a moment nodded her assent. "Though I do not have anything to do with it." Athena claimed. "More will begin to arrive. Watch for the heel." And then she vanished, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

I walked back inside, nodding to Percy and looking at Chiron, who had returned with a subdued Agamemnon. He kept quiet, but watched us with his beady eyes from the shadows. It was so strange to actually meet him. I had always hated him, but I didn't ever truly believe the Iliad was real. But he was here, and so was Briseis, so they obviously were real, and they were coming back. I looked to Percy and mouthed,"Rachel?" He nodded and pulled me aside.

Rachel Dare was visiting camp, so luckily we didn't have to drive across the country. I trouped across camp and knocked at her cave entrance.

"Who's there?" Came her voice, lilting in a singsong tone.

"Meee!" I called back in the same pitch.

She came to the entrance of her cave, smiled and waved me inside. "What's up girl, how are you?" I quickly gave her the brief rundown of what had happened, and her smile fell. About two thirds of the way through, She stiffened and fell back on her bed. I knew what that meant, but it was always as scary as the first time it happened. She began talking in a rasping voice, that was not her own.

"Books of old, rise to new, all those that were slew, shall rise again and assist the fight, the hero heel and his plight." Her green eyes sharpened and she sat up, gasping.

"I did it again, didn't I?" I nodded and sat down next to her. She said she had been dreaming about two men, One with long blonde hair and the other light brown skin with short, curly hair. The dreams were disturbing, and she recalled them in frightening detail. The brunette falling from a high wall, an oddly familiar face looking down at him.

The image jogged my memory, and I paled and my breath caught. I managed to stammer a shaky," I have to go." And left to go find Chiron, Percy and Briseis. This was important.

A/N Thank you so much for reading! I'm working on this book really hard, and it's my first book! The story picks up a bit as we get further into the book. Also, this is in a world where Briseis makes it to her afterlife, even though she didn't have a proper burial. Thank you!
