Timeskip After The Mission

Lance's P.O.V

Everyone is complimenting each other on how successful the mission went, so I quietly sneak into my room and flop on my bed. I was exhausted from the mission, even though I didn't do anything important. All I really did was grab the crystal we needed and took down a few of the Galra soldiers. 

I start thinking back to the rainy days on Earth when I would play with my whole family (besides my dad) outside. I start thinking back to the Garrison days when I had that rivalry with Keith and when Hunk, Pidge, and I would get detentions all the time for screwing with Iverson. I start thinking back to the days where I would go to the beach while visiting Cuba and getting sore after swimming. I start to tear up a bit until wipe my eyes right away when I hear a knock at the door.

"Lance." It was Keith's voice. "Dinner is ready." "Be right there mullet!" I answer back, chuckling when I hear a groan from the other end of the door. Even though Keith and I aren't the best of friends, I do like him. His presence has always made me feel safer if that makes any sense.

While eating dinner, I noticed Coran and Allura were discussing something, and for the first time, I was right. "Paladins!" Allura said loudly. "Coran and I have a big announcement." Coran then said, "We're going back to Earth! Once you finish eating, make sure to pack your bags, and we will go there tomorrow. " All of the paladins, including me, were excited. Even though we knew we still had to fight the Galra, we were excited to have the chance to see our families again. Then I remembered, my dad. I didn't want to see my dad again, since the last time I saw him, before going to the Garrison, I came out to him as bisexual. Even before coming out, our relationship was always rocky, coming out just made it a lot worse.

Everyone quickly finished their food and started to pack. I don't have anything to pack really, except clothes and my antidepressants that I really should take, but don't. I've never felt like the castle was my home, therefore, I've never felt the need to decorate my room or make it feel "cozy". 

Now that everyone was finished with packing, they put their luggage in their lions and were talking to each other on how excited they were to go back to Earth. Lance listened from afar, feeling too tired to engage in their conversation because he knows he would just cause an awkward silence. They start to walk back to their rooms, and so do I. Before I enter my room though, I feel someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and realized it was Keith.  

"Hey, man. Have you been feeling okay?" he asks. I answer, "Yeah, just tired." He then replies, "Okay then, make sure you get a good nights rest for tomorrow." and left. Once he leaves, I go into my room and cry myself to sleep, wanting my day to be over.

(A/N) Hello! If you didn't know, I am a martial artist, and I really wanted to make a Tae Kwon Do AU for any show/movie. I am just wondering what show/movie it should be, and what it should be about.
