A/N Trigger Warning: Physical and mental abuse is present in this chapter. If you are sensitive to those topics, don't read this chapter. A separate note, I forgot to inform you guys that Lance was openly bisexual with his mother and father. This is going to be shown in this chapter. Sorry for informing you at the last minute :)

Lance's P.O.V

We're flying in our lions until we reach Earth. I feel anxiety taking over my entire body. I guess it's been a good while since I've been really excited about something.

We land our lions behind the Garrison and change our clothes quickly. We then decide to fend for ourselves and find our families. We all bring the devices Allura gave us just in case we get into trouble. Thankfully, my house is nearby. Just a few quick turns and go straight for 1 mile. Kind of like my sexuality.

I dashed to my house. I couldn't wait to see my family's faces when they saw I was alive. I would hope that my extended family would run and give me a hug, my younger siblings would jump into my arms and my older siblings would give me a hug, and that my mom would welcome me home again. My dad, on the other hand, I just hope he isn't drinking.

I reach my house and knock on the door, and my dad was the one to open it. I came in anxiously, seeing that he was drinking his beer.

"Ugh, it's you." my dad said. "Your mom and the rest of your family went to the store to get away from your filthy ass." That hurt, a lot actually.

"I missed you, Dad," I responded. It was true. I did miss him, unlike he did to me. "You know what's funny Lance?" Oh no. "I always taught you to BE a man, not LIKE a man. I don't care what your Mom thinks either. I would rather have a dead straight son-" I start slowly stepping back, as my dad starts to walk forward, practically yelling, with a beer bottle in his hand. "THAN AN ALIVE BISEXUAL GOOD FOR NOTHING SHITHEAD!" He swings the beer bottle continuously at my face, hitting me in the eye, nose, mouth, and finally, throwing the entire thing on my head.

All I do at that moment is run out of the house and collapse on the floor while sobbing. I take the device out of my pocket, frantically try to ring one of the paladins, but none of them responded. I slowly get up and go to the nearest place where I can privately find water. By the time I found a place, the blood had already dried up. All I did was wash my face and hair.

I took a good look at myself in the mirror. I looked really messed up. I had a black eye, busted nose and lips, and a good portion of my hair looked like a deep shade of red. The other paladins were probably having a better time than I was right now, not like they cared.

I go back out, and it's dark out. I quickly and quietly go run back to my lion. I change my clothes until I notice my pills and my phone in the bag I packed. I took the pills and started to open them until I glanced a second time at my phone. Slowly dropping the slightly opened bottle of pills, I grab my phone and dialed a number.
