Weeks later

Namjoon and I have been hanging out for the past six weeks, it's been fun and we're both getting along pretty well. However, this week my body decided to fuck with my plans and now I'm sick.

It's Friday night and I haven't seen Namjoon all week. He's been texting me everyday to check up on me but I either reply late or fall asleep due to the medicine.

I feel sorry that he's taking his time now and then to check if I'm okay. It seems like he cares more about me than my own mother who till this day haven't made up with.

She's still doing the same thing. Bringing strange men from the bar home with her just so they can have sex or drink.

I'm tired of it. I'm scared of what can happen. She doesn't care nor see the bad side of it.

I poured a bit of medicine into a cup and gulped it down. The bitter taste made me want to vomit, I grabbed my water bottle and drank some water to get rid of the nasty taste.

Just then my phone vibrated. I picked it up and seen it was Namjoon.

Namjoon: How is my baby feeling? Do you need something? Snacks, food, me?

Hazel: Haha why would I need you? I'm still feeling sick but my fever went down so I'm okay.

Sent 11:03 pm

Namjoon: So I can take care of you. You're still feeling sick but you are okay? Hazel you ain't making any sense right now.

Hazel: Yeah, well what am I supposed to say? Anyway thanks for checking up on me

Namjoon: I have to. if I don't who will? Did your mom go out again?

Sent 11:06 pm

Hazel: True.. and yeah she went out again. I'm sorry if I fall asleep, I just took my medicine

Namjoon: Keep your window unlocked for tonight.

Sent 11:08 pm

Hazel: For What?

Namjoon: I'm gonna go check on you but you might be asleep and I don't want to wake you up.

Sent 11:09 pm

Hazel: I know you lying. I'll leave it unlocked, if I get robbed I'm gonna sue you.
