When I awoke, I was surrounded by a warmth so profound, I didn't want to move. I could feel Asurah's form against me, his head on my chest as his arms drifted across my waist, his legs entangled with mine. Now this is what I longed to wake up to. To Asurah's form wrapped around mine, his breath slow as he slept peacefully. This is what one found when looking up what euphoria meant. This right here.

After a while laying in silence, I felt Asurah shifting, causing me to open my eyes. I was blessed with the sight of Asurah staring at me sleepily, his eyes half hooded and his lips slightly parted. He looked absolutely angelic with the way he yawned, showing off those sharp teeth that, surprisingly, didn't cut me from all our shared kisses. He blinked slowly, his nose scrunching up before his eyes went wide and he shot up in his bed, looking around the room.

"What happened? Where's Issak? Did he get away?" He glanced at me, his eyes wild. "What the heck are you doing in my bed? How long have I been asleep for?"

I groaned, not wanting to be questioned so early in the morning. I rubbed the palms of my hands against my eyes, trying to wipe away the crusty crap that had formed during my sleep. When I finished, I sat up, yawning loudly. "Don't worry about Issak, he's taken care of. For now, at least. And you've only been out since last night." I glanced at him, enjoying the small blush on his cheeks. "And...ah, I was too lazy to go to my room, so I crashed here. I hope that's alright."

Asurah stared at me, until his gaze dropped and he gasped, grabbing my arm and making me hiss in pain at the sudden pain. I glanced down and scrunched up my nose at the many cuts I had gotten from crashing into the glass table. His gaze turned agonized before he pinned me with a glare. "You didn't tell me you got hurt! We need to get the glass out before your wounds become infected."

I didn't bother objecting when he pulled me from the bed, taking me over to a rather...luxurious bathroom with a tub that looked like it could hold thirty people. He sat me down on one of the benches that sat in front of a large mirror, before he got out some gauze and disinfectant, setting them down on the counter beside us. He took out some tweezers and got to work, his hair falling around his face as he looked down at my arm. "I can't believe you left these in overnight. What the crap were you thinking?" I said nothing as he worked, still quite tired. He sighed, rubbing at his temples. "Where's Issak at now? Please don't tell me that he escaped."

"Nah," I muttered, wincing when he tugged quite harshly on one of the shards. "That Jox guy took him to the dungeons."

Asurah glanced at me curiously. "I have a dungeon?" When I stared at him blankly, he shrugged, looking rather embarrassed. "What? It was my parent's palace before it was mine. Not to mention this place is so huge, I wouldn't be surprised if I had a dang aquarium here. I don't...but, that's besides the point."

He poured the disinfectant over my arm, making me hiss as I was assaulted by temporary pain. He then wrapped my arm up with the gauze, as gently as he could so he didn't hurt me. "That'd be cool, though."

"What'd be cool?"

"If you had an aquarium. Then we'd get to spy on all the fishies."

Asurah snorted, raising a pale eyebrow. "Fishies? I thought you were in your thirties."

"Early thirties, thank you very much. And I could be a hundred and still say childish things like fishies. Sue me."

Asurah laughed, leaning against the counter and tilting his head to the side, making that gorgeous white hair of his spill over his shoulder. He was absolutely gorgeous, and no matter how long we were together, it still wouldn't change the way my heart raced at the sight.

"Actually...in all seriousness...you might want to thank Delkele."

Asurah looked at me with a bewildered look on his face, his brows dipping low. "Why? What he do?"

I shrugged, standing up to bring the albino into my arms. "Well, if it weren't for him, I'd probably be dead right now." At Asurah's alarmed look, I waved my hand dismissively. "I'm fine now, obviously. But you should thank the big ol' brood. I have a feeling the emo wannabe would crap bricks if you thank him."

Asurah stared at me in silence for a couple seconds before his gaze lowered and he nodded. "I'll do that when I see him."

I nodded and gasped as Asurah gently kissed me on the lips, making me sigh contently and close my eyes, tightening my hold on him. We pulled away for breath and I rested my head against Asurah's, staring deeply into his eyes.

"You know...I actually enjoyed sleeping with you. N-not in that sense, but you know what I mean, so wipe that smirk off of your face."

Hearing him say that only made my smirk widen until it was a full on grin, making Asurah whack me in the arm, playfully glaring at me. "Oh come on, you walked into that one."

"Did not. You're just perverted. Pervert."

I laughed, kissing him on the top of his head, relishing the soft silky strands that whispered against my lips. "I'm only a pervert for you, Ash."

Asurah blushed darkly and averted his eyes in embarrassment, nibbling at his bottom lip. "You are something else, Jo, you know that?"

I snorted, pressing my lips to his soft, porcelain cheek. "And you know it too." I winked at him, causing him to blush and playfully roll his eyes.

He then pulled away from me, much to my disappointment, and pat my chest, giving me a smug look as he walked out the bathroom. "We should probably start having Cuban make breakfast, before it gets too late in the day. I'm freaking starving."

I agreed with him silently and followed him out of the bathroom, watching as he walked over to his closet and pulled out an outfit, that in reality, looked like a small wad of cloth. He placed the clothes onto his bed and glanced at me, a dark blush on his cheeks. Respecting him, I turned around so he could get dressed, faintly hearing his clothes fall softly to the floor. I wanted to glance back and see him in all his pale beauty, but I wanted to respect him by giving him privacy. So despite my mind telling me to take a small peek, my heart was telling me not to.

I waited until he let me know he was finished before I turned around, my heart leaping up into my throat at how...utterly gorgeous he looked. His hair was completely down, not even his bangs pulled back, and he wore a sheer top with beaded sleeves, and his bottoms were like everything else he wore, slit at the hips on either side, showing off those long pale legs of his. His whole outfit was dark blue, accentuating his beautiful pale features even more. I loved the way he kept his hair down, despite having one of his eyes halfway covered.

I cleared my throat, heat forming in my gut at such a delicious sight. Asurah looked at me innocently, as if he knew what I was feeling and was teasing me about it. I bit my lip, clearing my throat as I averted my eyes from his form before I ended up acting upon the heat that coiled within me. It didn't help with the fact that Asurah decided to walk over to me, gently touching my arm.

"Are you alright? You look like a lobster, with how red you are."

I cleared my throat again, glancing at Asurah before I gestured to the door. "We should probably get going before the steroid starts investigating."

"Who, Delkele?"

I nodded with a smirk, watching as Asurah laughed and smacked my arm. "I doubt he will take kindly to you if he knew you were calling him a steroid."

I shrugged. "What? He looks like one with all those giant muscles of his."

"Are you complimenting him?"

"Ha. In his dreams."

"You are so terrible," Asurah laughed, wrapping his arms around my torso as he pecked me on the cheek.

I winked at him, placing a hand on his wide hips. "And don't you forget it."
