I inhale smoke from my cigarette and then blow it out slowly. Another day alone in this shit neighborhood. Trash surrounds me as I stand in my living room looking out the small window before me. A moving truck sits in the street in front of my house, though it blocks my view of our new neighbors. My father snores loudly from his spot on the couch and I roll my eyes. Taking another puff from my cancer stick, I toss it to the ground and stomp it out.

"Get up you lazy, good for nothing asshole." I mutter and shake my father until he groans in his sleep.

I step around the trash surrounding my feet and make my way to the front door; pulling it open forcefully. The sunlight blinds me temporarily but I quickly recover and step onto the front porch. I cross my arms over my chest and squint across the street. A boy with blonde hair stands in front of his new house; back turned to me.

"Fucking turn around." I mumble to myself and he does.

This is when it all started. This is when my life changed forever, and it's all because of this boy. Only thing is, I didn't know it yet. I also never anticipated all the tragedy and pain that he would inflict on me but for now just listen to my story, and maybe you'll understand. Just maybe...
