Chapter 2: Finishing the Mission

Finally, I got to waste time, so you can come.

This man... he appears to be something that Adventurers can't do or mostly saw something that others don't see. Goblin Slayer, if I heard correctly of his class... Something tells me that this dude has a bad relationship with Goblins that makes them even want to kill child Goblins as well. No matter... This just replaces the Warrior as of now, but I know what I can do.

Though for the man himself, I'm a bit judgy about what he is wearing. Equipment is too cheap for him. Cheap plate armor, grubby leather armor, cheap helmet, and smells like blood.

I looked closely at the little tag, seeing that he is a silver-ranked adventurer.

Now that I think about it... he probably... Oh! I get it now!

He's one of those types of people. Taking advantage of the cheap stuff than the actual expensive items. Judging by how he brutally murdered those Goblins, he's a good specialist if he's killing a good amount of Goblins... And that eye... Hmmm... I'm very intrigued by this man.

With the adrenaline off, I felt pain in my shoulder as I lean against the wall and started to cough blood out. The girls got out of the barrier and went over towards me and see that there was an arrow lodged deep into my shoulder. Shit... I think while I got distracted that these Goblins shot an arrow toward my way. Fuck... I've gotten cocky again and didn't feel the piercing.

Yep... God did shit on my dinner.

How embarrassing...

Note to self. overpower as you are in the game, you're not in God Mode in this real life. Though... I got a few ideas of what to do with the card in hand.

"You four are registered," The Goblin Slayer asked us. "Yeah... we are... Five, if you can count our friend that's deep in the cave" I said, attempting to pull out the arrow despite the pain forcing me to stop it. "You're lucky that I came to the rescue before more have come," He said, walking over towards me and handing me a healing potion, "Here... It'll hurt when I pull it out."

"Not like I have any other choi-."

Without a second, he pulls the arrow out of my shoulder. I grit my teeth in pain as I punched the wall, making a hole through it before I can use the healing potion, healing my wound up. I panted as I check the wound, seeing that the pain fade away and my wounds are gone. "Thank, mate... If you came in a second late, I could have slipped up and protected the three," I said, looking over at the dead bodies everywhere.

"There's more of these pests in this cave. I got to use a spell to look for some life, more enemies than the adventurers," I inform the Goblin, "You're going in there to kill more of them?" "It's my duty as an adventurer. I'm going to finish those bastards," He said starting to walk deep into the cave before he stops and looks over at me and the girls, "What about you four? Are you going to back out and leave or wait here?"

"I'm joining you," I answered him, sheathing my switchglaive before picking up one of the dead goblin's weapons, "I'm killing those degenerates one way or another. I didn't even get serious since they distracted me, so this time, I'm getting serious." "I'll join both of you," The priestess said.

"We'll stay here and rest for now," The fighter said, shivering, "I need to clear my head after what has happened right now." The wizard looks away in silence as she looks over at her broken staff. I noticed it and put my hand out, bringing the broken staff back together. "What are you doing," The wizard said as I close my hand on the part where it was broken.

"Renewal," I started to mumble as the staff started to glow before it shows that it is back in its original state. The wizard's eyes widen when she saw that her weapon has been fixed as he gave it back to her.
