Chapter 6: After Dark Battle

It was night time and everyone is getting ready to fight those Goblins. On this very night, the Goblins should be coming here with everything they got. This should be good since they will go full at it. If the Goblin Slayer were to run, the Goblin Slayer and the Priestess would be there and should be ending its life. Thought before they did, everyone went to advise a plan. I've already given my tactic, of course, but it's their choice of how they want to handle it.

Kind of weird being a Tactician for the first time with them, but there's a reason. I got my observation and strategy from Momonga. Since I know all the creatures in the game, this should be fine. If this plan doesn't work, I should be able to use all the spells to save them, thanks to that Isekai God. I might as well use the triggers in case something besides the Goblins happens to show up.

Still, I can't help, but feel is something will come ahead that I must prioritize for the people to be protected by me. Goblins are one thing, but dealing with the goblins with something sinister. Momonga will have humans at his side at a price, so I should follow some forms of it if I see anything familiar.

While they were doing their plan, I was with the Goblin Slayer at the time as I was explaining to him something that I know would benefit him.

"Rope darts," He said in a confusing tone, "What can I do with that?"

"It's simple really... If you want to bring your Goblins closer for closer reasons or kill them from afar, this weapon would help you on this one," I've explained to him, "I've seen you throw your weapons most of the time, so this weapon should be fine with you. It should be good for piercing and slashing against the Goblins. I've would've tested it out myself, but I already know it works on Goblins before."

"You dealt with Goblins before? Before we even met?"

"Very. Remember the first weapon you've seen before... the same metal on my whip sword is the same as the Rope Dart. You should be able to use it nicely before it can break again, though I recommend not letting it break. When we're done, I'll show you how to make your own and your custom rope dart after this battle."

"Very well."

We were silent for a bit as I was getting my weapons ready. The Goblins are coming, but they won't expect me coming from the shadows. Raid went ahead and scout the surrounding area. He did find the Goblins, but he found out more in this battle. Lesser demons are here... They might take advantage in the battles. I expect that they are here to do the same thing that Goblins was supposed to do.

Kill anything and grab prisoners.

"... What are you going to be in this situation," Goblin Slayer asks me, "You may be a Half-Breed, but you proved that you have less patience from time to time? Will you be angry this time around?"

"No... Not this time. This is an army we're talking about," I said, checking my Hand Cannon before I made a duplicate of the same one and test the grip for my other hand, "As of now, this is something serious. Unlike quests, I'm more serious when I want to defend something serious. If my reports are right, we need to separate the battles ahead. You and the guild will keep a close eye on the Goblins, let me deal with the demons."

"Like the Guild, you were in?"

"... Yes. Like in Ainz Ooal Gown... I'll be honest... I know this isn't the Guild I was in, and I'm sure as hell it won't change how I'm experienced. However, this is the same thing I do if someone like those screw-ups if they want to steal something that came from us. A society where we all together to build friendships and knowledge so we can pass it down to future generations."
