Chapter 3: A Fortress Massacre and Meeting More Adventurers

Raid and I were currently heading back to the inn where we and the others are currently sleeping. Currently, they'll be heading towards the armory to get themselves some armor and other accessories that might be useful to them. Then, we can go back to the guild and see if we can do more quests and rank up. Heck, if we manage to meet with the Goblin Slayer, we can probably do better with Goblins this time around and get an increase in our rankings.

I need to make sure of some things that are at hand. The first is about the Inn. I need to see how much it is per night. I walked up to the front bar, seeing that the person at hand is doing his work. Since I know this inn has rooms since the girls are upstairs already and sleeping, the place I'm at is a bar, so pretty sure some cocky bastard would try and make me feel fear.

I notice that the other adventurers were looking over at me. I assume they see me because of the way I look. I walked up to the innkeeper and get his attention.

"How much are the rooms," I asked him, "I know I asked about it before, but I need to make sure in case I forget." "5 pieces of copper coins for the first night. If you want to pay more while staying in the inn, it'll cost twice the amount of the coins," He answers as I give a soft nod, now remembering how much it cost. "Thank you," I said before I went to go to the room and get ready for the next day, but...

Someone has to get all cocky and try and do a fight.

"That's a pretty set of clothing you got there," The one trying to scare me said to me, "How about you fight us to see who is strong, newbie?"

'Good Grief...' I thought to myself, 'I knew this would happen, but I didn't expect it during the night. I turned around and grabbed him by the collar of his outfit as I lifted him in the air, shocking everyone in the inn with my sudden change of mood.

"It looks like you're too weak to even play around with. People like you don't deserve my time," I said with malice in my voice before I throw the fucker to a table, seeing him crash on the table and see him knocked after the impact, "Anyone else? I will take all of you on if you want."

A lady screamed before I looked over to see a woman stomping over to me out of rage.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing," The lady said in a rage fit, "Do you just not think about your actions?! You just threw a guy into my potion!" She points over to the potion that is smashed by the guy. "I skipped so many meals just to save up money until this day, and now... it's ruined," she said. "All because of a potion...? Alright then," I said in deadpanned expressions as I went to grab my potions from my inventory, thanks to knowing I can make potions of my own, "Will this satisfy you, young lady?"

The lady looks at the potion for a few seconds before grabbing it from my hand. "Fine, I'll accept that as an apology," She said, "Thanks..." I give a soft grunt of approval before heading to my room.
