September 27, 2018Today's the day, when I finally get to see the woman who actually treated me like that daughter I was.
I haven't seen her in while, mainly cause I had a lotta shit going on but that's no excuse
Me and Monea got ready early cause the dinner would be starting at 5 and it's 3:30 already.
"Is your love boy coming?" She came into my bathroom yelling
I laughed at the nickname she gave him, "I don't know, he just had a concert yesterday he's probably gonna be tired."
I felt myself beginning to pout, I haven't seen his physical since 2 weeks ago, his last concert here.
And I don't why, but my feelings have grown more for him as he's been away
Maybe it's the thought of him not actually being mine ya know?
Monea saw my face in the reflection on my mirror.
"Aye, you better not let momma see you like that. You better go cake on the phone. You know how she is." She pointed towards my face.
Knowing how bad Mrs. Liyah hates for me to pout, especially over a man.
She's the biggest reason why I fight for women's right now, to be 47 with one kid she knows a whole lot. More than my mother ever did
I finished the extra items on my outfit and made my way into the living room.
I grabbed my phone off the stand because it just went off.
