Reeva could spend all day staring at the beautiful colors of the leaves. She liked to imagine a world where it was fall all the time, cool enough to wear sweaters, but warm enough to wear shorts. Reeva's positive, fantasy world was interrupted by something brushing against her leg. She opened her eyes and looked at her feet, there stood a cat, staring right up at her. She knelt down to pet the cat, brushing off the fact she's allergic to cats. The cat purred while she pet it. Reeva wanted very much to take the cat home, for some odd reason she felt connected to the cat. After awhile, the cat ran off to a nearby bush and disappeared from Reeva's sight. She smiled to herself. The cat had been the only thing that day to make her smile. Reeva realized this and felt her heart begin to hurt. She knew this feeling. She felt as if she was going to cry, but she could never shed a tear. Sometimes she wished she could. Perhaps crying could help release some of the emotions she keeps bottled up inside.
Reeva began to walk again, trying to relax by looking at the colorful leaves and bright blue sky. On most days, this would work, but this was not most days. Something was different. Something was off, she couldn't figure out what it was. It was frustrating. Unwanted thoughts started to flood Reeva's mind. She started to panic. Her heart was beating so loud she could hear it. Her hands got clammy and she began to shake. She knew what was happening. A panic attack.
Reeva hated the feeling of a panic attack, she was convinced that she was dying every single time. Most of them came suddenly, taking her by surprise. Nothing could make her feel better while she's in her panic mode. During panic attack, Reeva blacked out.
