Once at the park, Reeva sat at the swings and waited for Lola. About 10 minutes went by until Lola showed up. Lola was a short girl with shoulder length hair and bangs, Reeva was always jealous of how pretty she is. She took the swing next to Reeva, noticing that Reeva looked more distressed than usual. Lola gave Reeva a light push, "what's wrong?". Tears filled Reeva's eyes again, "I need a fucking distraction from this world" she said rather loud. It was starting to get dark so not many people were at the park.
Lola has an idea, "hey, why don't we go to the store?". Reeva looked up, "we don't have any money". Lola smirked, "we don't need money". Reeva understood what Lola was saying and began to smirk too.
There was a small general store a couple blocks away from the park. The two would go there every so often to get chips and pop. They would always walk there, Lola only had her permit and Reeva's mom was always too busy to take her to take the permit test.
They walked in silence for awhile until Lola spoke up, "I think we should make a plan". Reeva shook her head "I agree". The two were planning on stealing stuff. Lola had never done it, but she knew Reeva used to do it all the time. Reeva stole stuff to find some reason to stay alive. She used to believe that if she could successfully steal stuff, then she's good for something. Reeva stole shoes, cloths, candy, gum, and little trinkets, never anything noticeable. She was a pro at the kind of stuff, ever since her depression and anxiety got worse and worse, Reeva started to do bad things.
Lola knew though that Reeva had never stolen something as extreme as she wanted to steal today. Lola wanted to steal a bottle of liquor, any kind that they were able to smuggle out of the store. Lola stopped walking, "Reeva?" She said in a questioning voice. Reeva turned back to look at Lola, "yes?".  "What is your limit?" Lola asked.
"Well it depends on what you are looking to steal here". Reeva answered. She figured Lola wanted to steal something risky. Lola smirked again, walking closer to Reeva, "are you up for stealing a bottle of liquor?". Of course Reeva was, she used drinking as a way to escape the world. Reeva smirked, "only if we are spending the night together, we need to be safe". Lola shook her head in agreement.
