Reeva noticed what Lola was looking at, "I see you found my pictures of my friends.". Lola glanced at Reeva, "I bet you miss them... a lot". Reeva places the pillows and blankets she found upstairs on the floor, "yeah I... I really do". "Why'd you move here anyway?" Lola questioned turning her focus back to the pictures. Reeva sat back down next to Lola and looked through the pictures with her.
"My mom thought a "new start" would be good for us" she took a deep breath and sighed, "it seems she wants a new start every other month". Lola looked back up at Reeva, "what do you mean?". Reeva looked at the blank wall, "ever since my dad died a year ago, my mom has moved us all over the place. This is our third time moving since he passed". "Oh I-I'm sorry" Lola wasn't sure what to say. "It's ok. I just hope we stay put this time. I actually kinda like this small town".
The small town Reeva's mother moved them to was a town in Oregon. Before then, they lived in Oklahoma and Ohio. Reeva hated being moved all around, but what could she do about it? She had no job, no car, no money. It's not like she could move out.
Reeva sighed and started to make Lola a bed. "Well we should probably get to bed" she said to Lola. Lola began to help Reeva make a bed in the floor for Lola to sleep on. "Goodnight" and with that, they both fell asleep.
