The sun rose above the western mountains. The warm rays of light beamed through the parted curtains in Prince Todoroki's chambers. He stirred in his sleep as the bright, warm sunlight hit his face. He tried to roll away to hide his face from the sudden light, but there was something preventing him from moving.
Shouto's eyes fluttered open and he instantly recognized the sleeping woman on his body. A soft smile spread across his lips as he admired her. He began to run his fingers through her soft, silky, black hair. He couldn't take his eyes off her; he never got the opportunity to see her with her hair down, but now, last night, even though he was already in love with her he saw her in a completely new light.
'Momo... You're so beautiful,' he thought as his eyes never left her peaceful face that was resting on his chest.
Shouto laid there just admiring her and dreaming of a world where their love would be accepted, but his train of thought was abruptly interrupted.
"Shouto! Shouto get up!" he heard his sister yell through the door as she pounded on it with her fist.
"Shit..." he mumbled as he set his arm around Yaoyorozu's body. He didn't want to disturb her, she was so peaceful as she slept, but Fuyumi was bound to wake her up.
"Are you still pouting and having a temper tantrum like a child!?"
Fuyumi loudly asked through the door.
Shouto rolled his eyes and let out a sigh, knowing he was about to disturb his sleeping love.
"It wasn't a temper tantrum! I was pissed off and my emotions just came out!" Shouto retorted loud enough for his sister to hear through the door.
"Well whatever it was it was childish! Hurry up and get out here or I'll go get one of the knights to come and get your door open and drag you out."
As Fuyumi spoke, Yaoyorozu heard everything and opened her eyes and sat up. She pulled the blankets up over her body as her eyes focused on the door. Shouto sat up as well and looked to Yaoyorozu.
"Shouto, what do we do?" Yaoyorozu quietly questioned him.
"Shouto! If you don't answer I'm going to get Lady Yaoyorozu and have her come, get you up!" Fuyumi stated.
Shouto set his hand on Yaoyorozu's face and she turned to face him. He met her with his lips, giving her a soft simple kiss.
"Everything will be alright Momo," he whispered to her. Go to my bathroom while I deal with Fuyumi."
She nodded and got out of his bed and quickly and quietly made her way to his bathroom. Shouto watched her until she left his sights, smiling and admiring her figure. He let out a small sigh as Fuyumi pounded on the door once again.
"Knock it off! I'm getting up!" he growled at her. Shouto got out of bed and stormed to his door. He unlocked it and swung it open.
"What the hell is your problem?" he grumbled.
Fuyumi crossed her arms and returned the glare her brother was giving her.
"Breakfast is ready and dad told me to come and bring you down with me. Despite your outburst last night, he's not letting you out if this marriage Shouto," she told him sternly.
Shouto rolled his eyes and remained in his doorway.
"Don't underestimate me sis. I'll find a way out. I'm not marrying some random girl," he told her while leaning against his doorframe.
"Shouto, please," she said with an eye roll.
"I was serious. You'll all be lucky if I'm still around by the time she's supposed to be here," he grumbled.
