Secret Uncovered

The sun peaked over the mountain top, and into the window shining in on the sleeping prince and his knight. The prince covered his eyes as the sun shined into his eyes. He felt the smoothness of the woman asleep soundly on him and ran his fingers through her black silky hair. His hands rubbed her soft skin causing her to stir a little. She opened her eyes and smiled at him.

"Good morning Shouto, I have never slept so soundly like I did last night. I never knew love could feel so good and give so much pleasure. How could something so wrong, feel so right at the same time? How could true love be forbidden? Why must there be so many rules, that prevent us from being together freely? After tonight, I will have to watch as she holds you in her arms especially at the ball tonight. Why did we let it get this far?"

He held her close as she cried into his chest and rubbed her gently. He sighed as he lifted her head and wiped her tears.

"Shh, Momo we will figure this out I promise. We let it get this far because we are in love and we both know it. As much as we were both aware of how forbidden this love of ours is neither of us backed down. Do not put all the blame on yourself my sweet knight. I am as much to blame as you. Yet I have no regrets and hope neither do you. Last night was the most alive I have ever felt after making sweet love to you and can only hope you felt the same way I did. Do not think that this will end here, even if my fiancée is here, I will sneak away to be with you. I will not love her, because my heart belongs to you and no one else. Momo look at me, I mean everything I just said to you don't think I just let it get this far to go against my father."

She turned and gazed into his eyes, moving her hands along his chest as she kissed him deeply. Then she stopped and smiled at him.

"Yes I know, you mean what you say my dear Shouto. Your eyes are filled with love and I can tell that you are being truthful. It still doesn't change the fact that, I am your knight and you are my prince and we are forbidden to carry on like this. After she arrives my duty is to protect you and her and I will see it through no matter how much I love you Shouto. If I make one false move, we both know your father will replace me if I show one sign of being anything more to you then your personal knight. I am sorry but as of right now we are just knight and prince nothing more. I must accept that you are engaged and there are boundaries as much as it kills me to keep my distance from you. I will see it through and forget the feelings I have toward you."

As she turned to leave his chambers, he grabbed her hand.

"Momo, please don't do this. Don't just walk away from me. You do that I will be miserable again. Don't just forget what we have because of your duty to protect me. Please don't leave me after what we shared last night. We both are aware that after she arrives, we can't just go back to how we were before we discovered that we are truly in love with one another."

~Deep in the woods~

Toga, Magne, Dabi, Twice, and Spinner were waiting to make their move. Toga spotted the princess's party and signaled the others. Dabi laughed maniacally when Sir Aizawa recognized him. Sir Iida noticed they were surrounded and he along with Aizawa and knights from the princess's party fought them. Spinner stabbed one of the knights in the princess's party and dragged him behind a bush so Toga could take some of his blood and turn into him. Then they all retreated, all except Toga who was disguised as him and rejoined them as they made their way to the castle.

Sir Aizawa looked to Sir Iida.

"We must report this to his majesty, immediately shouldn't we? They attacked the princess's party, knowing they were arriving today. Me, along with Prince Shouto, his obnoxious friend, and Lady Yaoyorozou have fought them before. They just retreated like they just did like they were trying to scare us. Why on the day of the princess's arrival and the Royal Ball to announce our beloved Prince is no longer a bachelor. What could they be plotting? Come Sir Iida let us continue on our way to the palace so our prince can meet his future bride."
