Breach pt 1

The next morning the sun peeked into the windows as the sun rose behind the mountains and trees as a handsome prince was sound asleep. Soon he was awakened by the rays of the sun stinging his eyes. He felt the spot where his princess was sound asleep next to him and saw that her side of the bed was already made. He slowly sat up and rubbed his sleepy eyes as he sluggishly woke up and made his way to the balcony of her room that overlooked the vast kingdom he was about to inherit as the next king.

'Wow Shouto, this will be your kingdom after that bastard of a father passes it on to you, but you will have Momo as your beautiful queen by your side ruling. Finally, after tonight's ball, you will be able to hold her in your arms and not hide it anymore. You will finally be happy with your life all because of the love that Momo gives you. She must've gotten up early this morning, and didn't want to disturb you as you slept, or didn't want to be caught with you in her bed.'

He went back inside and locked her balcony and made sure that her door was also locked. Then he grabbed his shirt, and his pants off from her floor and used the passage that lead to his chambers. He smiled as he entered his shower, to start his busy day with his father and King Yaoyorozu. Today he changed it up a bit, to reflect the mood he was in from his usual blue outfit. He chose a pair of red pants, a powder blue and red trimmed shirt, light leather bracers, his white leather boots, and midnight blue jacket. As he exited his room, he fastened his sword to his belt. Today he was extremely excited, of the thought of holding his princess in his arms after he pops the question. Soon the kingdom will know the name of the secret princess he was to marry and was so in love with.

As he descended from the stairs his father Enji smiled at him.

"Well, Shouto you seem extremely happy this morning. We just have a few stops to make in town before your big ball tonight. You will be choosing the ring that you will give Princess Momo and will get your final fitting of your suit for tonight to make sure that it fits perfectly. Also, I expect you to wear your crown, you are a prince that will propose to your soon to be wife. You must present yourself as a noble prince. Represent our kingdom properly, and as a gentleman."

Shouto looked at his father.

"Father I am aware on how to behave at a ball, I am just a little worried about tonight. I overheard Sir Iida and Sir Aizawa talking about how they couldn't track down the one known as Toga. We are up against a crazy girl that can change into anyone of our loyal subjects, any of our trusted staff. One of my trusted friends also. It is a very scary thought knowing that your disowned elder brother was the reason that your princess rejected her birthright after watching her elder brother brutally murdered for saving the prince you have been betrothed too at birth. "

Enji turned to his youngest son after they ate their breakfast as they mounted their horses.

"Shouto, you let me worry about that. I have upped the security to make sure nothing interrupts the ball tonight. No mere criminal will breach our castle that easily without me being aware of it. Now let us run our errands and make it back to the castle in time for the grand ball to announce your engagement to Princess Momo. You must make a grand entrance as the prince of this beautiful kingdom of ours. You will be the next king Shouto, and I know you will rule very well."

King Yaoyorozu smiled as the three of them made their way into town followed by Sir Iida and Sir Aizawa. The first stop was the royal jeweler where Shouto would choose the ring to give Momo at the ball tonight. He had a wide variety to choose from and buried his head in his palm.

"There are so many, how will I know which one to get Momo. I am not very good with decisions."

King Yaoyorozu put his hand on the young prince's shoulder.
