Katie loved to sneak out of the Demeter cabin and swim in the lake at night. Tonight she was especially excited To dove into the refreshing water. She climbed out of the window in the cabin and sprinted to the lake. While she ran she threw of the bathrobe she had put on and tossed herself into the water without hesitation.Katie held her breath underwater and watched the bubbles float up to the surface. She exhaled and swam to the surface. She loved how the lake reflected the stars and the sky. It was almost as if she was swimming through her own personal starry sky. She was so engulfed in her thoughts that when she resurfaced she didn't notice Travis standing on the dock. "You're really good at swimming" Travis said. Katie gasped "Oh Travis... hi" she said awkwardly. She pulled herself up onto the deck. Travis kicked his sneakers of and dipped his feet in. "I thought I was the only one who came out any night." Katie said. "I love to look at the beauty in the night" Travis said. Then a little more quietly he added "You fit in perfectly"
