"LEA!"
"Brad! Oh my gosh I don't wanna die yet! I know I sound cheesy and all but I love you so much you don't even know but If I'm gonna die now, you should know. Take care of Rex and Sophie, make sure they're close to Jesse. Mom and dad, tell them thanks for everything they've done for me. My fans, tell them to never stop being themselves and that I love them." I said panicked as the vein I was holding unto was close to snapping and Brad and Jana's family was too far for me to able to reach them.
"Lea, stop. You're not gonna die yet. I'm gonna have to die first before you do, understand? Now grab unto something else before that vine snaps." Brad said and I nodded while looking for something else to hold unto.
Wait hold on.
What the heck is my foot touching.
Is that stone?
I swung my feet a bit and saw that it was kinda like a small cave underneath me.
I climbed down slowly and saw the small cave opening.
"Lea! What are you doing?!" Brad yelled.
"I'm fine! I saw a little cave hole. I'm not dying yet!" I said as I got in.
I took my phone and shone the flashlight around and saw that it was a dead end but atleast I won't die.
Not before Brad gets me out of here.
He is gonna get me out of here. Right?
I sat down and saw a chest at the corner and walked up to it.
Eli
There was a name written in a gold bar thingy on the padlock of the chest.
Padlocked? Gee, I thought I was gonna be cool now. You know, opening a hidden treasure.
And then I felt my hair get stuck to something so I turned around a bit and saw a skeleton hand and I screamed.
"LEA?!" I heard Brad ask and I steadied my breathing.
"I'm fine. I just got scared of something." I said and got no response.
The skeleton hand was holding out something and I saw that it was a golden necklace with a key pendant. Cute.
I looked at the hand and touched the necklace.
"I will have this now. Thanks for holding unto it for decades. I hope you don't mind. It's a pretty necklace. Good skeleton hand." I said as I took the necklace slowly.
When I got a hold of it, I ran to the chest and opened it.
I wonder how no one ever knew about this little cave.
When I opened the chest, it was full of books. Antique books. But not books. It looks like a journal book. Like the old ones.
Wow, what am I saying?
I opened one and it looked like someone has written over it and IT'S A VERY NICE HANDWRITING...
Unlike mine.
Then there's a letter on top of everything.
To the person who's reading this,
Why do you think that nobody has ever been in this cave before? Well maybe someone has but.. I don't know.Anyway, this letter has been written in April 26, 1971 and I am wondering what year it is when you're reading this. But I guess I'll never know.
Do you live with aliens now? Maybe not. But don't you think that would be so cool? My name is Elizabeth. Eli for short. My father would kill me if he found out that I'm going back here.
You'll know why in my diary. I am now 19 years old and I am being forced to marry a man that I do not love. I do not even know who will like a guy like him. Such looks but his anger and evilness is just so pure.
Are you a girl? If you are, do not let anyone tell you and force you who to love cause it hurts.
And if you are a boy, love your woman as who she is. Do not change her. Cause you loved her for a reason. You loved her for you loved what she is. If you change her, you will lose interest on her and might hurt the both of you.
It is the day before my marriage today. I have no choice. Wish me luck!
Oh and goodluck to you and your future.
Sincerely yours,
EliWow.
What did I just read.
I feel bad for her.
I wish I was there for her.
"Lea! We're sending a rope down for you now." Brad said loud for me to hear.
"Okay!" I said back then looked and saw a rope.
I looked at the chest as I grasped the rope.
I have to know more.
"Screw this." I said before getting the chest and tying the rope around it and pulling so that Brad would pull.
"Lea?"
"Bring the rope back!" I said just before the rope was back.
I tied the rope around me and started climbing back up.
"Oh my god." Brad mumbled as he hugged me tightly.
"I love you." He said and I smiled.
"I'm not dead yet, am I?"
"I'm just happy you're back here beside me." He said still hugging me and I chuckled.
"Me too." I said as I returned the hug and saw Jana glaring at me.
"Hey, what's this?" Jana's dad asked as he looked at the now locked chest.
I touched the pendant on my neck and smiled.
"Something I found special, inside the cave." I said and he nodded.
"Thank you for the help." I thanked Jana's family.
"We're sorry for how Jana has acted." Her mom said and I smiled at her.
"It's fine." I said.
I'm glad she did. Or I wouldn't have seen Eli's treasure.
"Let's go back to the hotel?" Brad asked and I nodded as I yawned.
"I'm tired." I said as I leaned on his shoulder, him wrapping his arms around me, leading me to the car.
When I got in, ofcourse with Brad opening and closing the door for me.
He ran around and got in then started the car.
"I have plans tomorrow after your shooting." Brad stated and I just nodded and yawned.
Then he held my hand and kissed the back of it and smiled at me.
"Don't ever scare me like that again, okay?" He said and I just smiled, nodded and dozed off to sleep with his right hand intertwined with mine.
I'm glad that I'm with Brad now but Eli.
I want to know more about her.
Wait, if she wrote that letter in 1971 and she was 19 at that time, that means she's still 66 now and she might still be alive!
