((next day))

I yawned as I woke up a person standing in front of me, Pyre.

"Come on love, we must find out your skills" she took a few steps back watching me rise up from my bed sluggishly "Here put this uniform on love, practice starts at 8 am to 12 pm then we eat lunch, if you want breakfast you must be in the cafeteria at 7:30 am or you can go out and get your own food if you so please love"I nodded standing up taking the uniform from my side, It was a dark blue long legged leotard that has a see-through blue veil connected to the back that fell mid-calf, the stop of the leotard had a gradient that went to dark blue and light blue that pulled up a strap going around the neck connecting around. Pyre's outfit was a yellow-orange and red gradient that went down, the red at the bottom, to her knees the ends being cut professionally like flames. The back of hers had a red x made out of the strands which the whole outfit sparkled in the light "After lunch we have some free time till 3 pm love, then we practice again 8 pm then dinner is served for whoever hasn't passed out, since we all are adults we have free time again from 8 pm to whatever time you decide to sleep love" I had finished changing in front of her, she's blind she can't see me. I slipped on skin tight blue shoes though they were comfortable since they wrapped around my toes perfectly "Do you.. like the outfit?" her voice was hesitant and soft

"Yeah it fits nicely and it's really comfortable like my bed" I grabbed my brush and started going through my bedhead excuse of hair as pyre nodded looking me over

"That's good I was worried you will have been too short"

"I'm /not/ short im average c a r l y is short she is like three apples tall the smurf" I huffed crossing my arms and leaning to the side, Pyre nodded turning towards the door

"I noticed, let's go and find out what you can do around here love"I followed behind her a little upset that she didn't even smile at my joke. I looked around for any of my friends

"ROBIIIN!" I quickly turned my head to see George casually falling towards the trampoline and robin flapping his wings above him laughing to himself, George hit the trampoline and lightly bounced on it completely safe. robin flew down and sat beside George and they started talking, George pushed robin over sitting up himself. I chuckled looking around for Carly and I quickly saw her with Desossado and the animals chilling on top of one of the giraffes feeding him the biggest leaves I have ever seen! Pyre and I arrive over at a pool of water which we had to climb stairs to reach the top of but the glass surrounding the tank was cleaned

"Here you go" I looked at the water confused, it was clear blue with nothing in it. Pyre threw a ring into the water leaning against the side of it "Go and get it"

"What?" I placed my hand in the water, it was cold "Its all the way at the bottom there is no way I could hold my breath that long"

"If my calculations are correct, that shouldn't be a problem love"

"Can't we practice in a normal pool??"

"Why? can't you swim?" I fell silent glancing at the water then back to pyre "oh" she nodded turning on her heal "Let's go practice then" embarrassed, I nod and followed her. I was never taught how and always was able to get out of the situation when it was brought up, since my mom wasn't around my father and I mostly focused on other things like, reading, writing etc. the school required stuff. we arrived at a normal sized pool I sighed lightly as she pointed to the water "Go ahead" I nod and slowly step into the water a shiver going throughout my body " I apologize for not being capable to join you in the water, fire and water usually don't mix"

"Its okay" I was barely able to touch the bottom on my tippy toes, I looked to her and went to grab the side only to lightly get burned "ow!"

"I heated the sides so you can't go for unnecessary support, swimming comes naturally to the human body as a way of survival. and i will not let you drown" pyre leaned against the side of the pool watching me as i barely floated the water coming up to my chin "Now practice moving your body around with your arms, not your legs" I looked at the water and outstretched my arms pulling my arms back in a circular motion trying to pull myself upwards "Add more force, the water doesn't care if you die or not. you need to gain the same feeling in the water"
