((skipper))

I had already started walking out of the dining room not bothering to wait for Carly "Where is George??" I asked aloud flicking my eyes around a bit before I looked to Carly

"H-he said he was going to do something else like Robin had asked him to remember?"

"Yeah I know but it's 8:30 and I'm considering just going to see Pyre without him" Carly had moved in front of me

"Let's do it" she smiled lightly, well I've never seen her not stutter well not in a while at least. I nod and went to walk with her as we searched for pyre and a little bit for George to I guess. We spotted her at Aqua's statue sitting at the base of it her hair not glowing as bright as it did in the daytime, she had a flower in her hand twirling it in her fingers as she stared at it

"Pyre?" she looked up lightly not surprised by us walking to her

"W-we came to ask you ab-b-"

"I know already Carly, do not worry I was just thinking of what to tell you loves is all" she leaned her head back looking up at the statues eyes "where to begin with you A" she whispered, I had sat down now figuring this was gonna be a long story, Carly joined me on the ground as pyre looked back towards us "I've known her for a very long time, we have been inseparable ever since day one and I believe we still are.. She was the type to be outgoing, always talking about figuring out what to do with her life and where she wants to go, all the adventures she wants to go on things like that. though her eyes weren't always that ocean blue they were once a light brown with little strips of blue very unique eyes. But ever since she met marshal the brown faded and the ocean waves crashed in her eyes as if you were at the beach dipping your toes in the water everytime she looked at you or talked to you. And I'm sure marshal told you what had happened to her" she exhaled lightly her grip on the flower tightened "I hate how nice she was.. i /hate/ how she put herself in danger and I couldn't save her. I saw her eyes drown of colour. i /saw/ the ocean waves die down till it was completely drawn as the waves of the tsunami swept her away... They never found her body so we instead built this memorial." she cleared her throat shifting her positioning "But, more about her life, she was a very helpful woman who knew many languages like Latin, Russian, Spanish, French, dutch, sign, and English with a few others. She wanted to be able to speak to all audiences and include everyone she could" that's a lot of languages, so many to try and look through for that phrase "her life before the circus isn't really that important she had a normal life like most people, went to school and got good grades she made a few mistakes but nothing major, her parents weren't the best and her siblings were.. questionable but all in all a normal life" Pyre leaned back there was something she was hiding from us, which cause the light tension to settle

"Thank you, we were also wondering about the engraving on the side of her statue?" pyre furrowed her eyebrows confused

"Engraving???" she moved to look where I had pointed "It doesn't say anything over here" I lifted myself up to go check and she was right it had vanished

"Bu-ut" great I sound like Carly "I swear it said Vade ad quod circus Zory the first time I saw it"

"I'm not seeing anything? And I do not recall anyone writing something on the side" Pyre looked to me in confusion and worry

"I am not crazy I swear it said that"I moved to go sit back down next to Carly thinking it over, had I only imagined that it was there? But why would I imagine something like that when I don't even know what any of it means, and I have never heard of the phrase before

"Love" Pyre stood up "You will know more all in due time, till then practice your swimming. Our next show will commence in a few months" she went to walk away from us, a little piece of fire left behind, Carly was about to put it out when I placed a hand on her shoulder pulling her back
