Hey, guys! Hope you enjoy this chapter! Happy reading!

"Let's see...cross the two rocks - no, that can't be right. Go in between the two boulders - no that's not it either. How about - no..." Hiccup muttered to himself, looking at the map.

"We're lost, aren't we?" Hannah said.

"No, we aren't!" Hiccup's cheeks blazed red. "We are most definitely not lost!"

"Hiccup, we've been coming back to the same spot where we started for the past hour. I think it's safe to say that we're lost."

"Well, you try navigating this weird map," Hiccup said, turning it in different directions. "It's like this map was written in a whole other language."

"We can't be lost now," Jack groaned. "We've been making such good distance over the past week."

"Give Hiccup a break. He's the one leading us after all," Elsa said. She turned and gave Hiccup an inspiriting smile.  "Hiccup, take all the time you need to figure out the map."

Hiccup smiled gratefully at her. "Thanks, Elsa. Now I think I got it now. We're supposed to cross the two boulders in about a mile."

"Whatever you say, Hiccup," Jack sighed. "I hope you're sure about this...."

..~..

"ARGH! This is the wrong place!" Hiccup said, looking angrily between the map and the rocks.

"What?!" Jack said. "But Hiccup, we've been traveling for-"

"Oh, be quiet, Frost!" Hiccup said. "I'd like to see you read a map and lead at the same ti- Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Merida said.

"Shh. Quiet," Hiccup said, putting a finger to his lips.

They all strained to hear what Hiccup was talking about.

"I hear it," Jack said, eyes widening.

"I don't," Anna frowned.

Hiccup and Jack started following the noise. With a shrug, the other girls started trailing after them.

After a few minutes of walking and getting past the thick forestry, they came upon a lake.

"There's nothing here," Hiccup said, furrowing his brow. "I could have sworn I heard something-"

All of a sudden, from out of the waters, a girl appeared. Looking to be more fishlike than human, with gills and scaled adorning her body. The girl had shells and seaweed wrapped around her frame, and where her feet should have been, a tail was there. She smiled at the group and dived back into the water.

"Hey, wait!" Jack called out. He turned to the others. "Maybe she can help us with directions."

"I'm all up for it," Hiccup said, looking down at the map in his bag in disgust. "I'm about done with this thing."

With a splash, the girl from before had come up again, but this time, she had brought more like her along with her.

"Great! More of them to help us!" Jack said.

"I'm not sure they're going to help us," Rapunzel said cautiously, squinting at the aquatic group.

"What do you mean? Of course they're going to help us!" Jack said confidently. "Won't you, ma'ams?" he looked at the fish-people and smiled.

The fish-people smiled, and with a silent signal from each of them, they all started to sing.

"See? I bet they're saying that they would be happy to help us!" Jack said. "And they're singing for us because they finally have guests. Isn't that right, Hiccup?...Hiccup?"
