As soon as Danny announced they were finally on the capital, everyone rushed outside the vehicle.

"What is that?" Dash asked curiously at the trio, pointing at the big building in what seemed the centre of the city. It was a massive black and white medieval-like castle. With a flag on top of all the towers but from the distance they couldn't see what was in it.

"That is Palace Phantom," Tucker answered. "And that is where we need to go."

"Can we explore the city?" Star asked. "We are probably never going to come here again, it's our only chance."

All the class started to agree very loudly with her.

"Okay, fine!" Danny yelled them so they would shout up. "We are going to separate into three groups so we cover more territory and when you are reunited, you can compare the places you saw."

"And we are going to make the groups," Sam said crossing her arms. "Or no exploring."

Everyone nodded, even the adults since they also were curious.

"Great," Danny started saying, "let's start."

After a bit of arguing, the groups were formed in this way: Danny's group consisted of Mr Lancer, Star, John Lee, Rebecca, Wez and Sergio. In Tucker's were Kwan, Charlie Mells, Mr Fenton, Fionna Rojas, Mikey, Valerie and Eugine. Sam had the fortune of being with Mrs Fenton, Dash, Paulina, Taddeous, Simon Smith, Eddie and Reggie.

"Can we go over there?" Simon asked looking at the dark alley that seemed to have a park at the end of it.

"No, there are a lot of ghosts that don't like having humans in here and it could be dangerous," Sam replied. "Plus, that is way too far from the palace."

"Come on, Mason!" Reggie insisted. "Nothing's gonna happen!"

"Mrs Fenton, can we?" Taddeous asked.

"Kids, even if I don't like to admit it, Sam has been here before and knows this place better than I do. If she says is dangerous then..." Maddie tried to reason with them.

"Well, I think Mason is a coward so I'm gonna go, whoever wants to go with me is very welcome," Dash spat and ran to the alley, soon followed by Paulina, Reggie and Taddeous.

"Hey, don't go!" Maddie yelled at them and ran into their direction. "We can't separate in enemy territory!"

"We should... we should follow them," Eddie said making movements with his hands to point at the screaming people and fixing his glasses that were covered by Bruce Banner and Clint Barton's stickers.

"Yes, there are homes around here and I don't fancy waking them up," Sam said but then noticed the calmness. "They stopped screaming."

"Is that good or bad?"

"Definitely bad," she said and they started running in their direction. They couldn't see a thing and that was not a good signal.

"Where is everyone?" The dark-browned haired boy inquired at her side.

"With me," a voice said behind them but Sam didn't have to turn to see who it was.

"Walker," Sam stated and then turned slowly. "Where are my classmates?"

"You know him?" Eddie asked scared.

"Ah, it's the goth girl," Walker said amused.

"He knows you," Eddie said to Sam pointing at the ghost.

"I asked you a question!" Sam asked infuriated, clearly ignoring Eddie's remarks.

"Well, they are here." Instantly, Walker's minions floated closer and they could see them holding a person unconscious.

"Let them go!" Sam demanded. "I order you to let them go!"

"You have no power on these lands yet," Walker said smirking.

"But you know King Phantom will not be happy when he hears about this," Sam said, thinking she got the upper hand.

"I still don't see what he sees in a week human like you," he said scowling. "But I want to test if he would really come to save you and... your human classmates."

After that, they were hit by a ray and everything went black.

"And here is where our tour ends, no photos please," Danny said when they arrived at the Common Garden, a garden outside the walls of the castle that everyone could visit to have a closer look at Palace Phantom. It was also the place where they agreed to meet after the hour-long tour finished.

"Heya, Danny!" Tucker waved at him, it seemed that their group got here first. "Took you a while, almost half an hour more."

"Where is Sam's group?" Danny asked his best mate.

"Haven't arrived yet."

"Really? That's strange." The young prince frowned and shook his head. "Let's get everyone inside first."

"She still hasn't arrived?" Danny asked the gatekeeper once more. "It's been more than an hour."

Fortgoon, the gatekeeper, shook his head. "No, My Liege."

"Thank you anyways." He strolled back to the castle but then stopped at the middle of the entrance. He needed to check on her. Something happened to her and her group.

He knew they should never have separated! Much less explore! Some angry ghost that didn't appreciate him must have done something, he thought.

Just wait 'til I get my hands on you... He thought angrily before transforming himself in his alter ego and flew to the part of the city she was taking her group.

We searched for her for what seemed an eternity, never finding anything.

That was until he stumbled upon an alley that seemed to have a small glint in it. He approached it to find no classmate of his, nor his mother, nor his girlfriend but he found a pair of glasses with stickers on the temples.

He didn't recall the owner exactly but he knew they were from a person in Sam's group. He concentrated to find where the owner of the object was-something handy Frostbite taught him a while ago that only the royal family and a few selected could do.

He finally found the trace and knew exactly where they were and who got them.
