"Uhmm..." Slowly, Danny said starting to open his eyes. "Where am I?" He looked carefully at his surroundings, he was on a comfy bed in a white room. It had no pictures on the walls but he wasn't alone, Sam and Tucker were on two beds beside him.

Again, he tried to wake them up, again, he failed at doing so.

He decided to stretch, maybe he was in Ember's house. Yeah, he didn't know where he was, he really never entered her house.

The young halfa walked down the hallway and descended the stairs until he found himself in the kitchen where, fortunately, Ember and Skulker were having breakfast.

"Supreme Dipstick, glad you're awake," Ember greeted me.

"Good morning royal whelp," Skulker greeted me too.

"Hi, question, why are they all unconscious? The humans I mean. And please, I'm no king yet, there is no need for formalities," Danny said at his new nicknames.

"As you said, they are humans, they ain't used to our air so I think they are... getting used to it," Ember replied. "Your friends will probably wake up soon since they already have been here."

"And I'm calling you whatever I want until your coronation." Skulker added quickly at the green flashes on Danny's eyes, "Or until one of your ignorant humans wakes up."

"Glad you know the rules," Danny chuckled darkly.

A year after he defeated Pariah Dark, it was announced that Danny was the prince of the Ghost Zone, so he was allowed to make a 'few' rules and changes to the Ghost Zone. The first thing he did, was that if any ghost communicates to a human of Danny's ghost identity and status or refer to it while they were present, it would be considered treason to the prince and, therefore, the kingdom. And would be put under the highest or second highest punishment. Of course, if the human in question already knew (like Sam, Tucker and Jazz) then the rule did not apply.

And it was the responsibility of the older ghosts to tell a newcomer about it.

Danny knew it was a little bit exaggerated but it was the only way to ensure that it would not be disobeyed. And his secret would stay a secret.

"Well, wanna eat, dipstick?" She asked him gesturing at her bowl of small ghostly eyes with milk and Skulker's fried cheeks and eggs.

Danny's stomach growled. To a normal human, that food would be disgusting and/or terrifying, but Danny being half ghost found it delicious. "Yes, please. Where are the bowls?"

Ember pointed at up the stove and Danny pulled out a black bowl and pour the milk in it.

"What are you doing, dumbass! You put the eyes before the milk!" Ember asked.

"I didn't know there were instructions of how to eat your eyes without causing havoc," Danny replied and put eyes in it. "Tastes the same."

"I'm not the only one to do it! Ha!" Skulker exclaimed at her.

"But that's not the way you're supposed to do it!" Ember said and put a spoon in her mouth.

Sam was finally waking up, she tried to remember how she got there but she could only recall a mysterious and unusual rift that shallow the bus. It was possible that a friendly ghost took them in. But Danny wasn't here.

Maybe he already woke up, a part of her said.

Whatever happened she needed to wake up Tucker so they could search for Danny together. It was hard but he started waking up.
