Gabriel
He was beside me as Theodore came out of nowhere. The air had rippled and the leaves had detached from the trees and swirled while he walked over to us. Dante places his hand on my waist and I looked towards him to see him squinting at Theodore.
"I see you two have resolved your differences." Theodore said with a great big sigh. He sounded tired, he looked like a man ready to collapse. He was pale and unsmiling, I found myself frowning.
"Is that really what you say to an old friend?" He blinked and furrowed his brows and I chuckled stepping out of Dante's range and walking over to Theodore. I tilted my head up since he was taller before I wrapped my arms around him.
He was still and shocked before his arms wrapped around me.
"I am feeling rather nostalgic." I laughed and pulled away to see his glassy gaze on me.
"You...you remember?" He whispered as his finger touched my cheek and I gave a nod.
"I have a lot to ask you." He pulled me into my arms then and he cried. I was taken aback, unsure of what to do, or to think. I rubbed his back. "What's wrong?" He sniffed, his eyes red as he shook his head.
"I don't know what to do..." He sobbed and I felt my heart break as I stared at my friend.
"Theo... Talk to me." He gasped and grabbed at his heart before I heard a growl and I was thrown to the side. I gasped as the air left me and arms wrapped around me before I could go crashing into the floor. Winston had Theodore in his arms as he cried. The larger man shushed his mate and rubbed his head. I looked up to Dante confused and hurt but he was glaring at Winston.
Not knowing what to do, I remained silent and waited for Theodore to get himself together. Watching him with his mate was something short of a dream. Winston was so tender and gentle with him, whispering soothing words and I could see Theodore visibly relax, gain his composure as he looked up at his man and kissed him.
I smiled because I was happy he found someone to love, happy to see that he wasn't alone, that he was being taken care of.
"Gabriel..." I snapped out of my own mind to look at my own mate. He was worried and I leaned into him, rubbing my cheek against his clothes cheat. I wanted him naked, to feel his skin on mine, so be intimate in a way that wasn't completely sexual. I smiled at him, reassuring him that I was alright.
"I'm sorry about that," Theodore sniffed and chuckles rolling his eyes while he came closer to us, Winston holding his hand. "It's just...so much has been going on lately and I'm the only one taking care of it...I just...snapped." He flushed and I smiled.
"I'm here, you don't have to do anything alone." He blinked then and took me in a hug, much to his and my own mate's distaste. I laughed then and he lead me inside.
We went to the kitchen where he turned on the kettle and sighed.
"Alright..." He took a deep breath. "How much to do you remember?" He asked me then.
"Everything. From my life on earth to Sanctum."
"So...dooms day?" I tilted my head to the side.
"What?" He sighed.
"Seems you are missing at least 500 years worth of memories." I furrowed my brows.
