VALERIA'S P.O.V:

We pulled up to the border of the Ice Dagger territory behind Alpha Rocan in his grey Rolls-Royce. He stepped out of his car and spoke to one of the patrols, not bothering to seem professional, in fact, it seemed he was refraining himself from bouncing up and down in excitement. He turned sharply to face us, then motioned for us to step out of the car. All the girls looked at me for confirmation. I turned to them. "Well, it's about time we show ourselves, don't you think?" I said. They all gave me a small smile, which I gladly returned, before we stepped out of the car simultaneously.

The patrols that had gathered around us simply stared at us as we stood in front of the car. I stepped towards Alpha Rocan, or, I was about to, but then a laugh rang out, clear and loud, from the crowd of patrols surrounding the 2 cars. I turned towards the patrol that was laughing humorlessly. I tipped my head like a curious bird, simply watching him laugh, until he stopped and realized that no one was joining in. He righted himself, clearing his throat to cover up his embarrassment. There was a moment of silence, until Alya asks the patrol what we were all thinking. "May I ask why you were laughing?" "Well, it's just that," the patrol began to answer "Y'all are, well, girls!" Alya raised her eyebrows. "And?" she asked. "Well, That means y'all simply can't be that powerful!" the patrol exclaimed. "I wasn't aware that we were still in an era where women were considered less than men." Every head snapped to me. "Or, I wonder," I said, tipping my head to the side, not breaking eye contact with the patrol, who was shuffling nervously under my glare. "If it is just one person deciding to be an idiot in front of everyone else to appear "impressive" I stated calmly, not lessening my glare on the idiot in front of me.

Everyone stood for a moment in shock, Alpha Rocan as well. He was the first to snap out of it, however, turning to someone who, I'm going to assume, was the general of the patrols. "Get him out of here and make sure that patrol is punished accordingly." he growled to the general, who, (unlike everyone else who looked like they were all going to piss their pants,) looked calm. I respect that, keeping calm under pressure. "Who do you think you are?!" I slowly turned my body to re-face the patrol, who seemed to had gained some courage. "You're not anybody important, none of you are! So stop kidding yourselves!" he spat at us. Now, had he been spitting specifically at me, I wouldn't have particularly cared. But he spat at not just me, but my Silent Assassins. And anyone that spits at my Silent Assassins are going to pay. I didn't let that show on my face however, instead, I kept it void of emotion.

I glanced at Alpha Rocan, watching for his reaction in this situation. He said nothing, letting me handle it myself, (which I appreciated, I like to fight my own battles) but when he saw me looking at him, he gave me a reassuring nod, telling me he would step in if needed. I turned back to the patrol, who was seething, trying to appear unafraid and confident, but there was fear in his eyes. There always was. Fear is the one thing I know I can use, because everyone has it when they look at me. Everyone but my Silent Assassins. That's why I trained them, why they became my first real friends, my first family outside of the orphanage. I smiled sarcastically at the patrol, which seemed to only serve to scare him even more. "Well then, I'm going to go ahead and guess you don't know who we are then?" I asked, and the patrol looked confused. I smiled again. Well then, he's in for a surprise isn't he? I thought. Athena laughed. Oh get on with it! I want to see his reaction! She exclaimed impatiently. "I am Valeria. That is Alya, Hailee, and Victoria." I said, pointing to each of the girls in turn before turning back to the patrol.

"We are the Silent Assassins."

Silence. I simply stood, waiting patiently. The patrol gulped audibly, before righting himself. He opened his mouth to say something, but the general interrupted, growling "One more word Jonathan, and you will be kicked out of your place in the Warriors immediately." I looked at the patrol, who slammed his mouth closed quite quickly. "Jonathan huh?" Victoria asked. "Interesting. You should probably know that none of us forget names very quickly." She said, glaring at the patrol. He swallowed nervously under the anger in her glare. "Anyone else want to make a comment? Because now would be the time to man up and spit it out!" she glowered at the rest of the patrols, who all shivered slightly at her ferocity. As small as she was, Victoria is not the sweet little thing everyone thinks she is. And she is definitely not a person you want to get on the bad end of. None of us were.

We hopped back into the car once we had introduced ourselves to the general and signed a few papers with Alpha Rocan. We followed the grey Rolls-Royce farther into the territory, until we pulled up to a huge mansion, which I assume is their pack house, where we are going to stay. We step out of the car, walking over to where Alpha Rocan is, standing next to his own car. He motioned to the giant mansion behind him, saying, "This is the Pack House, where you will meet everyone and stay for the remainder of your time here." We all nodded simultaneously, then grab our bags, ignoring his requests to have an Omega come and get them. I gesture for him to show the way, my Silent Assassins standing patiently behind me. He sighs, realizing that we were not going to comply to his wishes, so instead, he turns and walks through the double doors, the entrance to our new home for the time being.

We follow him inside, entering the doors to see a lavish living room. The walls are a deep red, with the rug beneath us an off-white. The many pieces of furniture that decorates the living room are an dark grey, and if you look close enough, you can see even darker grey wolves sown into the couches and armchairs. Alpha Rocan motions us into an huge stairwell, that opens up to a huge hallway. Is everything here built to house a giant? He shows us four different rooms, then as he is about to leave, I call out to him. "Alpha." He turns I tip my head towards the other four rooms behind me that are farther down the hallway. "Whose rooms are those?" He glances at the other rooms before answering. "Ah. Those are the rooms of my son, the son of the Beta, and two future elites. I hope you don't mind them being right next to you." We all shake our heads, assuring him that we don't mind at all. "Oh that reminds me." I turn to him.  "You should probably not leave the pack house until we have introduced all of you to the rest of the pack, so they do not assume you are spies or something like that. However," He continues, seeing us about to protest. "There are huge gardens you can have unlimited access to, as well as the roof, which is open, and the pool." Hailee, Alya, and Victoria all visibly relax, while I give Alpha Rocan a small smile. You see, if we are trapped in the house, we can grow restless, and sometimes even claustrophobic. But if we have our elements, like for me, if I had a pool or body of water of some sort, I would be satisfied. It is the same for everyone else.

Once Alpha Rocan leaves, I turn to the rest of the girls. "Alright. Lets get settled, and then we'll go chill in our elements until we are introduced to the pack, ok?" I ask. "Sounds like a plan!" Hailee smiles at me. "Wait. But my element is the kitchen, more importantly, food! How am I to find that?" I turn to Alya, who had a completely straight face on, trying to seem as though she wasn't joking, but her eyes shone with mischief. I just shook my head at her, choosing not to respond before I turned on my heel, facing the stairwell, and left to find the pool, and my element.
