Chapter 6: Dragons
The next day soon came by and I was hanging out with Viktor and some of his friends. We all got along pretty well, besides all the girls that were fawning over him and glaring at me. Seriously? Come on, all you got to do is just talk to him, nothing else to it.
It was like that for several days. The Durmstrang clearly had nothing to do as they just hung around the castle grounds as the rest of us had schoolwork to do. They were rather lucky. I wish I didn't have to do all this work while they didn't. Or maybe they did it on their ship? Hmm, who knows exactly?
I had walked to Care of Magical Creatures with my class as we finally arrived.
"Ah, look, boys, it's the champion. Got your autograph books? Better get a signature now, because I doubt he's going to be around much longer." Before he could continue, I flicked him on the forehead.
"Oh, just shut up, you." I said.
"Oh, what's the matter love? You upset it isn't me, your boyfriend?" He smirked. I glared and pushed him away as Hagrid arrived. He said we had to put leashes on the skrewts and take them for a walk. Are you freaking kidding me?!
I tried to put the leash on the thing, but it's end randomly exploded and it started to carry me off as it tried to sting me as it went. I screamed as I couldn't let go of it.
Well, that class was nothing but awful. It's been strange these past few days. Harry only relied on Hermione and I as we believed him that he didn't put his name in, but Ron, on the other hand, didn't know what to believe. He was just jealous of him getting all the attention. Hey, it's not Harry's fault every time something happens. Would he like Voldy plotting to kill him? I sure as bloody hell wouldn't.
When I reached Potions class, everyone was to wait outside the classroom. Every one of them were wearing badges of supporting Harry Potter, and even Draco was wearing one. Oh, come on, the only reason why he's doing that is because he hates Harry. He doesn't even like Cedric either!
"Like them, Potter? And this isn't all they can do, look!" Draco said as he pressed the badge as it began to say POTTER STINKS. Ugh, they're all idiots.
"Oh, very funny. Really witty." Hermione said as every Slytherin girl was laughing especially loud, all but me.
"Want one, Granger? I've got loads. But don't touch my hand, now. I've just washed it, you see; don't want a Mudblood sliming it off." Draco said.
"Shut up! Don't you ever say that about her!" I glared at him. I saw Harry pull out his wand. "What are you doing, Harry? We aren't starting another fight! It's not worth it over ferret boy!" Some of the Gryffindor's laughed when I said that.
"Go on, then, Potter," Draco pulled out his wand. Oh no, I don't think so this time. "Moody's not here to look after you now. Do it, if you've got the guts." They both shouted words as Draco's spell hit Hermione and I gasped, running over to her.
"Hermione!" Ron and I shouted. Ron pulled away her hand that was in front of her mouth and we saw that her teeth was growing at an alarming rate.
"Oh no, Hermione! This is just awful. . ." I said as I grabbed onto her arm.
"And what is all this noise about?" Professor Snape asked as he walked towards us. "Explain," he said to Draco. They all started jibbering around.
"Let's see. . . Fifty points from Gryffindor and a detention each for Potter and Weasley --"
"And Malfoy said that he'd rather be stuck in a room with Potter than listen to your lessons." I blurted.
"Detention, Malfoy." Snape said. I grinned towards myself.
