Y/N walked around the crowded ballroom while adjusting his crown with boredom. He was the Prince of Johto so he had to go to a lot of balls. He sighed in annoyance, wishing to be somewhere else.

As he walked around, he overheard a conversation about the royal kingdom of Unova. "Strange...I haven't heard of them..." He thought to himself. He knew that there was a war going on but due to his father's commands, he wasn't allowed to be involved in the battle, which was stupid. He stood still, silently eavesdropping in the conversation.

"The king finally allowed the children to leave the castle." One of the many people said.

"Aren't they in this party?" Another asked, joining the conversation.

"Yeah, we should see them, they've been hidden from the public for far too long." Someone else spoke up.

"Prince, what are you doing?" A voice asked, making Y/N turn around to see his best pal, Ash. "Aren't you supposed to be looking for Crystal?" He asked.

Y/N sighed in annoyance. Crystal was a rich girl a year younger than him and his father had forced him to propose to her once the two were older. He didn't want to be rude but he just didn't like Crystal at all, she seemed like a brat to him. "Ugh, let me live my life." Y/N said, crossing his arms.

"Sucks to be you I guess," Ash said as he glanced around.

As Y/N looked around, he saw a girl that seemed to be around his age. She had lovely, long, pink hair that matched her dark pink eyes and pink dress. He felt his heart skip a beat as the two locked gazes. He felt his face grew hot, now feeling flustered which caused him to look away.

"Oh, what's this?" Ash asked, seeing Y/N's face red. "Alright, who did you find?" He asked, instantly knowing what is happening.

"I'm not sure..." Y/N answered as he looked up to see the girl walking. Ash punched his arm playfully, making him roll his eyes. "Fine...! I'll talk to her!" He said as he brushed his hair with his hands and began to approach the girl.

"Excuse me But it appears like we had eye contact, don't you think we should introduce ourselves to each other?" Y/N asked the girl politely, making her chuckle.

"That seems reasonable." The girl spoke, her voice seeming like an angel's voice to Y/N. "I am Anthea, Princess of Unova." She introduced herself.

"Ah, one of the children of the King of Unova...She seems quite... gorgeous..? Is that the word?" Y/N thought to himself as he bowed down politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Princess Anthea. I am Y/N, Prince Of Johto." He said with a little smile.

"Oh, it's wonderful to meet you, too," Anthea said as she smiled back.

After a while, the two chatted with each other. Suddenly, a girl with brown hair ran towards both Y/N and Anthea. "Hey! Leave the Princess alone!" She said as she ran up to punch Y/N, causing him to take a step back.

"Rosa! What was that for?!" Anthea said as she walked over to Y/N to check if he had gotten hurt.

"He is from the opposing side of the war! He isn't safe!" Rosa said as she crossed her arms angrily. "Let me at him-" She said as she lunged onto Y/N but he quickly blocked her.
