Morty stood at the end of the gym, glancing at the hall with his eyes glistening, awaiting for his next opponent. He soon heard footsteps approaching. A grin fell upon his face as he soon looked at his challenger before his jaw dropped slightly.

Standing there was a gorgeous girl with [hair color] hair and an enthusiastic grin. She had a tropical vibe surrounding her with her outfit. She was looking back at Morty with the same expression.

The girl soon snapped out of her daze first. "I am Y/N, you are Morty, right?" She asked with a soft grin as her [Alolan Pokémon] stood by her side.

"Yes, yes I am," Morty responded swiftly, "I take it that you'll be battling me now?" He asked, radiating a calm aura as he spoke.

"Of course I am," The girl responded with a grin.

Morty was standing beside the punch table, he was currently in a part held for the Pokémon League which invited all the gym leaders, elite four members, and the current reigning champion. Morty stayed there in solitude before he watched Falkner approach him.

"Hey, Morty! How are you doing?" Falkner asked his fellow gym leader while taking a cup of fruit punch.

Morty shrugged as a response before speaking, "It's been going well, the challengers have been moderately easy," He responded as he fixed his scarf. "Aren't you here with your girlfriend?" He questioned.

"Duh," Falkner responded with a grin as he leaned backward towards the table. "[Y/N's Best friend] is the best person I've ever met. The day I met her was amazing, it was like I instantly knew I'd be with her forever," He told Morty. "It's impossible to describe the feeling."
