Katelyn.
The door opened and I stumbled in. I looked around but there's no one is there. There's a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see (Y/n). She closes the door and picks me up. I look down at her. Wrapping my legs around her waist. "We got to talk about this dimension thing tomorrow," I say. (Y/n) gave a light kiss on my neck. Laying me down. "Yeah. Yeah," she mutters. "I'm serious (Y/n/n). We really have to. Why didn't I know any of this," I asked? (Y/n) shrugs and kisses her way up my neck and across my jaw to my lips. I groan, rolling my eyes. "You tease. If you're going to kiss me, kiss me already," I say. (Y/n) gave a laugh. Letting her eyes wander. "Ssh. I'm trying to admire you," (Y/n) whispers. I roll my eyes but go to admire the girl too. Her cheek has a small scar on it now. And her lip is busted. Her eyes are red and bloodshot. "Did you get any sleep," I asked? (Y/n) shook her head. Leaning closer. "You keep me up all night. Why would I go to sleep?" And then our lips met. I let my fingers thread into (Y/n)'s hair as she held onto my waist. This kiss was like none of our others. This one held a year of longing to be with the other in it. It held every tear I had ever cried and all the nights she stayed awake. It held all the bruises (Y/n) had gotten and the gnawing fear of her never coming back. Air soon became a problem though. So I pulled back. (Y/n) give a soft whine. Attacking my lips again. I grin and pull away once more. "Stop it Blue." "See now you know how I feel," I state. Laughing at her. (Y/n) groans and moves aside. Laying down besides me. "Irene it feels much better to lay here then the ground." I can only imagine. Let's lay right." (Y/n) nods and we lay down the right way. (Y/n) props her head up looking down at me. "I have a question." "Shoot," I say. Looking up at her. "When did Naomi get a boyfriend and why," (Y/n) asked? "Um like a year ago. And he's a really nice kid," I point out. (Y/n) groans and flops down. Covering her face with a pillow. "My kids are growing up! You should've seen Matt in the diner. He looked like a whole different person Blue." "Does he? I didn't even realize it," I say. (Y/n) shook her head. "You've all changed Blue. You're eyes are lighter," she replies softly. "You changed too. Your eyes are darker now then I remember. And you're much more uptight. And that's saying something." (Y/n) rolls her eyes as I laugh. "Whatever Blue."
(Y/n).
I lean back in my seat. Bringing my hand to my mouth. I had just explained everything I know about splitting. And now everyone is silent. "So we aren't human?" "No. Technically you have a part of human in you since your mother is human. But depending on how much my genes are dominant in certain areas you're likely to have more of my genetics," I answer. "Can we split us into different people," Naomi asked? I had to think this through. "Maybe. But likewise I don't know." "Can you split apart now?" "No." Katelyn shifted. "Why didn't I know about this?" "I told you already. I swore under an oak." "Yeah but in our vows we promised not to keep anything from each other." "Technically in my vows I said no such thing." "Technically I wrote vows for both of us," Kate says. I just flash a grin to her. "Um so what does this mean now? How do we know nothing will come back for us," Naomi asked? I click my tongue. "That's not certain. I've made a lot of enemies over the years," I point out. "So we just basically call it game over until the next fight comes up," Jason asked? "Mhmm. You can't go picking fights with everyone. It makes you noticable." After we wrap this little part up, I show the boys how to create basic spells. Basic things like getting your magic to spark on command. That is a big one. If you can't get it to come on command, you probably won't be able to use it.
Kate.
I lean against my backyard porch. Looking at my kids and wife. (Y/n) was teaching them basic things. She didn't go overboard like she did with me and throw a knife at there head. But it was fun to see them try. And they were laughing. They learned basic punches. Basic kicks and all this magic stuff. For a moment my whole world was just utterly perfect again. Like it was in the beginning. And I guess I owe a little thanks to Gene. Because if he hasn't made (Y/n) the way she is, I wouldn't have known her. I look over to see the girl besides me. "Now don't think you'll be sneaking up on me everywhere," I say. (Y/n) laughs. "Trust me, I will be doing lots of that. I'll be back okay. I want to see Melissa and everyone else." I nod. Turning to her. "Don't stay out too long. Who knows what trouble you'll get into." (Y/n) rolls her eyes. "I am above eighteen. I will stay out as long as I wish." I laugh. "And do what? Go hide and wait for someone to try and kill you," I teased. "Bye Blue." That sent me doubling over.
(Y/n).
When I got back everyone was just coming in. Dinner. I think I missed this part the most. The warmth of my family around the table. The one I help create. I sit in my respective spot. As the kids do theirs. And for a while I just listened. Listened to the laughter spilling out. To the teasing. It was a warmth to know I had them back in my life. That I wasn't back at someone else's table. Wanting it. I sit back and watch my little family. Wondering how in the world I got so lucky. Katelyn leaned her head on my shoulder. "What's on your mind?" I glanced down at her. Taking her hand. "Everything. Everything and nothing." We watch as the kids laugh at each other and yell. Katelyn looks up at me. "Hey (Y/n)?" I look at her. "You aren't leaving again right?" I smile at her. The one smile is for her. "I'm never leaving. Never again," I say.
Last chapter. Very last. The series has come to an end. I'm kinda sad for this. Though I never think I get to this point at all. Yes I changed a bit of it. But this one seems to be way better. Thanks everyone who stuck with me through all my books. Even with the bad Grammer mistakes. And for New comers who just came. And like I always say
Another one 😏
