(Y/n).
I try to create a portal but I can't. Growling, I try again. Nothing. So now I'm forced to go by foot. I raid the place for food and other materials I might need. And then I go. I continue walking. With my hood up and my hands in my pocket. Head tilted towards the ground. I'm in that valley again. The place I supposedly died in. Gene is lying on the ground. His neck is snapped. I go to him and stare down. He was a monster. I shouldn't pity him. I shouldn't even want to look at him. I should be happy he's gone. Because that means everyone is safe. But I can't help the way my whole body turns icy cold. I can't help feeling sad for him. I bend down and brush some of the hair from his face. Silently. "Monster huh? Do monsters deserve some pity? Am I a monster Gene? Who's the real monster," I asked? And then I continued to walk on. Using my magic I'm brought to the top of the cliff. Still no portal. It would have been easier. But I guess my power is a little warned out from being used to heal myself. Well for now I'll just walk.
Fern.
"Dad I'm home," I say. I go to the kitchen where dad is with Jason. They share a greeting. "We were wondering if you could tell us anything about (Y/n). Or alpha as you call it," I say. I sit and Jason sits besides me. Dad sighs. "What do you want to know," he asked? "Anything really. Whatever you can give us sir," Jason says. I smile at him. My dork. Dad sits and looks at his hands. "Your mother Jason were good with the younger ones. Though there was one thing I never got," he says. "What's that," I asked? "I got that she had magic. That was no biggie. I also got Gene liked her very much and favored her over the others. This then turned to hatred. Maybe she had mentioned it. But she use to tell us of stories. And her magic will show the scene. There was this world she made," dad says. "Maybe I can show it," Jason asked? Dad nodded. Jason opened his palm and a ball of black magic ran out. As dad talked Jason made people. Lots of them. Some were mean and evil. Others were nice. "Your mother Jason was not normal as I feel like you already know. But I don't think she's from this dimension either," dad says. "Dad that's crazy. Other dimensions aren't real," I say. "Actually babe they are. Parallel dimensions are commonly place and people walk into them all the time. And then their are opposites. Ones that don't match up with ours and seem completely different," Jason says. "Look at you. Studying in school," I exclaim. Smiling. Jason gives me a playful glare before returning to dad. "Did she ever state directly or gave you a clue of which one she was from. Or something like that," he asked? Dad gave a shake of his head. Jason nodded and looked at the time. "I got to go. I'll see you tomorrow Fern. Thanks for the information sir," he says. I know his head was swimming with information that he can process in two seconds. I wave at him and watch him go.
Katelyn.
Jason went on and on about (Y/n) not being from this dimension. "Jason stop," I say. Jason stopped and turned to me. Crossing his arms. "Sorry to rain on your parade. But your mother is not from another dimension. I would know where my wife is from if she was," I say. "But what of she never told anyone. Maybe we can ask Marissa or something," Jason says. "Don't do that. She lost a child Jason. She's still grieving," I say. "I'm asking anyway. Maybe Ma isn't dead but only healing. Maybe she can't die here. Only in her own dimension." I look at Matt to speak some sense. But he even looked like everything made sense. Checking the calculations. And Naomi was pointing out things that made (Y/n) different. As much as I wanted to be mad; a smile couldn't stop it's way from my face. They were working together. "That might work." "You guys are missing one thing," I say. "What is it," Jason asked? Looking shock that I'm on board with this. "She has another form. Only the ultima has another. Your mother is only a werewolf. But she has at least three different sets of herself. Maybe more," I point out. Jason writes it down. "What kinds of forms Mother," Jason asked? "Well she had wolf form with her regular eye color and then another one with white, she has human, werewolf. Then there's her normal magic form, then one with red eyes and I think one with white eyes too," I tell him. Matt nods. "What if Mama has met up with all her forms in the different dimensions and then picked ours to come because she wasn't here. Maybe she made her self into existence," Naomi says. "What if that's what happened. And Mama isn't even human. Would we be part human mom? Or are we something else," Matt asked? I laugh at this. "I'm not your mother. How would I know? She still as secrets to this day I don't know about," I say. "Mother order a pizza. Maybe two and some soda. I'm guessing we'll be here all night," Jason says. "What," I asked? Jason rolled his eyes. "Please," he states. "Better. What's our topping." I listen as the kids call out some and then calm the pizza. The kids talk loudly and creatively. And then the amulet breaks and lands on the floor. A person comes out. Naomi screams. "You guys figured it out. I'm not at all human." It was (Y/n). But a hologram of her.
Another one 😏
