Where could be taking Jace and Jacob so long? They were supposed to be back here once they were done speaking with the new class. Obviously something must have gone wrong; perhaps a student couldn't get a weapon and thought that they could just use the twins as weapons, and the student got hurt and they felt bad so they were helping the kid out. I paced back and forth ,until Miss Green burst into my office. She seemed out of breath, which was very unusual for her. "What is the matter? Did any of the new students get hurt? And where are Jace and Jacob?" She breathed in again and stood up straight.

"Well, one of the new students was too powerful for any of the regular weapons in the class, so I wanted to see if she could match their soul wavelength. She matched it perfectly; they were so astounded that someone could reach their level so early on.

My eye twitched in irritation. "Miss Green, you are making only a little bit of sense. Who is she, and who are they?"

" 'They' are Jacob and Jace madam. And 'she' is one of the new students. I think her name is Rebel"

I paled and sat down. I had known that there was something special about that girl but it didn't cross my mind that she could be this powerful. She has done something not even the very best students could do. Again I asked myself who this mysterious girl was. "Bring her in here. I will come up with drills for her. She is too powerful to be in with the other lower level students. She will train with the top students until we can determine exactly how powerful this girl is."

Miss Green bowed and went back to the class.

The twins had changed back into human form, leaving me with a feeling of emptiness. I shrugged off the strange feeling and stared at their souls. They are so powerful; but not as powerful as me. The teacher walked back in and told everyone but us to sit back down with their weapons. She told us to go see the director for further instructions." I was stunned but followed the twins without further questions.

When we got there, a bunch of warning bells went off in my head. I had seen this office before but I couldn't remember where. I mentally shrugged and went inside.

Inside was a woman who had silver hair and purple eyes. She looked and felt like she was in charge. I found myself shy in her presence. She gestured for us to sit. We all sat down and looked at her expectantly. She took a deep breath and started,"I think that you should start a different training regimen. It would be similar to what you two normally have, but you wouldn't be with the regular team. I am forming a special team together full of people like you. The team is mostly filled, but they need a fourth member. I need this team to do special operation in dangerous locations. Will you accept?"

My brain felt like it was in a fog. I could hear the words and register them but it felt like a was a long ways away. I thought I nodded but couldn't tell. She smiled and shooed us off. I shook my head, trying to shake that feeling of fogginess. What just happened? I thought back to the conversation we just had. I couldn't recollect anything I had said or done. It couldn't have been anything too bad, right...  Something still felt off but I shrugged it off, blaming it on nerves. I followed my weapons down a different hallway and found three meisters intensely training. One had a chain sword; another had a whip sword; and the other one had a massive black scythe. They all stopped training to watch us enter. I looked back at them, daring them to say something horrible. They said nothing and went back to training. I turned towards my weapons; they understood immediately and changed into weapon form. I turned back towards the group and we joined in on their training. Life is good when you get to be on your own team, I thought smugly.

That was interesting. I don't know what compelled me to put her on my most elite force. Maybe it was because even I could feel immense power just coursing from her soul. She is so different from the rest. Something is off about her; but what could it possibly be? I turned on my monitor and switched it to my private team. These were the meisters that could beat my top students with only their soul powers. There was Zack and Kiki; Jasmine and Haze; Hera and Kyle. Now there was Rebel, Jace and Jacob. It truly was an astounding feat that she was able to match both their wavelengths at the same time. I stared at Rebel's face, trying to place where I had seen it. It was a face that one doesn't forget. She had a pale face and black hair, that had dark red highlights in it, that was kept up in pigtails. If you cut her directly in half she would be exactly the same on each side. I chuckled quietly to myself as these thoughts ran through my head. I switched off the monitor and went back to my paperwork. Apparently the most powerful kishin had been released from underneath Death City and was hiding out somewhere. I bit my lip in frustration as I scanned the words on the paper. Who released him; and what was their motives?
