Love & Rodeo

Chapter five

Keslie

I woke up because someone texted me and it scared me.
Haze: Good morning! Sorry if I woke you up, just wondering what's your favorite color, and what's your favorite flower?
Me: Your fine! And my favorite color is Sea Foam green, and my favorite flower is Babies Breathe!
Haze: Ok! Thank you!
Now I really want to know what he's planning for our lunch date!

I got up and put my boots on and fed the horses. I also put my bot products on Dakota since I'll be running him again tonight.

I came back to the trailer and got showered and put on a black tank top and some denim booty shorts and put my hair in french braids. I made pancakes for breakfast, and ate then went and got out Montana and Oklahoma and saddled them both up and got on Oklahoma and ponied Montana to the arena.

I worked Oklahoma then Montana and walked them back to the trailer. I unsaddled and put them away then took my pants off and put my shorts back on and waited for Haze to come get me.

*Knocking on door*

"Hey Haze!" I said when I opened it, "Hey! Are you ready to go??" He asked me, "Yep! Just gotta grab my phone!" I said. I got my phone and locked the trailer up. Haze was holding the door open for me and I hopped in his truck, we drove for about 10 minutes. We finally got to a beautiful meadow with a picnic set up for two!

We walked over there and I said, "This is awesome! I love it!" I said, "I'm glad you like it!" He said, we sat down and ate lunch and talked.

We decided to packed it up and head back since the rodeo starts soon. "So, would you like to go do something again sometime soon?" I asked him, "Yes!" He responded, "Ok!" I said as we pulled into the fairgrounds.

I got in my trailer and after he left I screamed! That was amazing! I'm hoping that we can go do something again sometime soon!

It's about 4 so I decided to do a little work out. I put on a tank top and mesh leggings and I ran around the fairgrounds 4 times then came inside and showered again and changed into my tropical rodeo shirt and got some food and ate with the tv on. I finished my food and got Dakota out and ready to go. Tonight I'm using my turquoise and purple tack set and I put my tropical boots and bells boots on.

I got my hat on and went to the warm up arena. I warmed up and waited for my turn to go.

About 10 minutes later it was my turn and I ran a 17.21! I also won it again! I walked Dakota back to the trailer and untacked him and got feeders ready then took him back to his stall. I hung up all the horses feeders and gave them fresh water then hurried and got their supplements and gave them those too.

I got back inside and I put my pjs on and stayed up late bing watching Netflix.

Haze

Today's our date! I couldn't wait! I woke up and went and set up the picnic. And I had sea foam green roses with babies breath flowers and a sea foam green ribbon.

I got back to the fairgrounds, and I got myself ready to go. I got to Keslies trailer and knocked on the door. She answered quickly, "Are you ready to go?" I asked her, "Yep! I've just gotta grab my phone!" She said. She got her phone, and we headed out.

We got to the meadow and she was surprised! "This is awesome! I love it!" She said, "I'm glad you like it!" I responded, "So when/what's your next rodeo?" I asked her as we ate, "I'm stopping in Milford for theirs then going to the Strawberry Days rodeo in Plesant Grove, Utah! It's the best rodeo!" She said, "Awesome! Me too!" I replied.

We finished eating and went back to the rodeo grounds. "When should we do this again?!" She asked me, "Whenever works for you!" I told her, "Ok! I'll let you know!" She replied.

I drove away and wanted to talk and talk about it! I got my horses out and saddled up and worked them out. I ran into Austin and he immediately asked me, "How'd it go?!" "It was amazing!" I replied, "Did she like the picnic?" He asked, "Yes! She loved it! Thanks for the idea!" I replied, "Yeah!" He responded.

I took the horses back and untacked and put them away with feed and water then put my purple rodeo shirt on and got ready to ride.

I got to the chutes and put my silver chaps on and put my saddle on the bronc. I scored an 80 and came in third.

I watched Keslie run and she did great and won again tonight with a 17.21!

After her I watched her run I went in for the night.
