Keslie

I saddled up Oklahoma in the crisp morning air. I put on my longhorn boots and bell boots then took him out on the track that they had at the fairgrounds. I ran him around the track to breeze him then I went for a little trail ride.

Man I love this life! Going from rodeo to rodeo, my dream.

I got back to my trailer and I unsaddled and got Dakota ready to go. I put my tribal pastel polo wraps on him then did the same thing with him.

I got back and went inside to eat lunch. I was looking at the world standings so far this year and I'm number 9 in barrel racing! I screamed to myself and danced around my trailer. That means that I already qualifyed for the NFR and I'm most likely to stay up there high the whole season!

I calmed down and I texted my mom and told her the news!
Keslie: GUESS WHAT?!!!!!
Mom: What!
Keslie: I'M NUMBER 9 IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!
Mom: Wahoo! Good job! I'm so proud of you!
Keslie: Me too! Thank you!

I also told Haze and he had the same reaction and he's also already 5th in saddle bronc and he's probably going to the NFR too!

Haze left cause he's getting ready to leave. He's leaving after he rides tonight. I also was too so I cleaned up my trailer and got all three horses tied up and wrapped their legs then filled up feeders and took down stalls.

By the time I finished taking everything down it was 9. I hurried and put my saddle on Montana and put my blue aztec rodeo shirt on and my felt hat. I hopped on and warmed up then waited to go.

I'm the 7th rider to go tonight, and I ran a 18.38 and won it!

I went back to the trailer and unsaddled then loaded the horses up. I put away their feeders and started the truck and drove to my home town, Pleasent Grove, Utah for my favorite rodeo ever the Strawberry Days rodeo!

Haze

I woke up and was kinda sad that I wasn't with Keslie.

I got up and showered and ate breakfast then fed the horses.

Keslie called me very excited about something and she told me to come to her trailer as soon as possible.

I got there and before I could even knock she opened the door. "Guess what?!!" She said to me, "What?!" I replied as I walked in. "I'm number 9 in the barrel racing world standings!" She said excitedly, "That's awesome! Good job!" I responded, "Thanks! What about you?!" She asked me, "I'm 5th in saddle bronc and 176th in tie down since I'm not very serious in that event." I replied, "That's awesome!" She responded, "Thanks! I've gotta go. I'm leaving right after I ride tonight so I need to get ready for tonight." I told her, "Ok! Me too." She responded.

I left her trailer when I got back I tied up the horses and took down their stalls. I also wrapped their legs and gave them their supplements. I came inside and put my stuff away and got ready to ride. I put on my black rodeo shirt and went to the chutes.

I put my chaps on and I saddled the bronc I drew and I hopped on. I rode him but he was an easy one, so I scored a little lower because of that but not by much. I got an 80 and came in 5th.

I got my saddle and took my chaps off then went back to the trailer and put my stuff in the tack room then loaded the horses and secured everything and pulled out of the fairgrounds athen started the drive to Pleasent Grove, Utah!

**I'm running out of ideas for this book so this chapter and some of the other new ones are going to be shorter.**
