"No,"
"What about this one?"
"Caroline, I told you already; I just want a normal hair cut,"
Joel groans, she's been trying to get Drew to do a comb over, faux hawk, or any other hairstyle besides a trim.
The hairdresser can't stop staring at Drew, she can't help but look at her warm eyes, her long eyelashes, her lips and her muscular arms.
"Maybe you should just grow it," The hairdresser suggests. Joel and Drew look at her with blank faces, she gulps and lifts her hands in surrender, "never mind,"
Drew sighs, "can you just trim my hair and stop listening to her?" Drew asks looking at the hairdresser.
"You dare trim her hair I'll break your thumbs," Joel growls when the hairdresser takes her scissors.
The hairdresser sighs, "you two are the worst customers I've ever had,"
Drew stands, "I'm out," she says walking away.
Joel follows shaking her head, "you should have just..."
"I said no Joel," Drew says walking away and not turning around.
Joel sighs, "fine, I'm sorry,"
Drew smiles in triumph but doesn't turn around, she only stops walking.
"I know I don't have the right and I guess I got carried away. I'm just convinced you'd look really hot with the styles I chose, but I know my opinion doesn't matter. I'm really sorry," Joel says looking down at her feet like an innocent child.
In reality Joel is guilt tripping Drew into just doing what she wants, she bites her lip to stop from laughing at her cruel intentions.
Drew walks to Joel and embraces her, she suddenly feels bad and she never meant to make Joel feel like her opinion doesn't matter.
"Joel I'm sorry, I'll do anything you want," little did Drew know, Joel is smiling in victory.
Joel pulls away with a wide smile, "good, faux hawk it is," she spins on her heel and skips back into the barber shop.
The hair dresser notices the woman she's learnt to be Caroline skip back to her with a wide smile, she frowns at how wide her grin is and she clears her throat, "have you made a decision?"
"She'll do the faux hawk," Joel says sounding chirpy.
Drew stares at Joel in disbelief as her legs carry her back into the barber shop, "you tricked me,"
"No, I helped you. There's a difference,"
Drew frowned the whole day, when they ate lunch, when they were on their way home, when they got home; she just frowned.
"Drew," Joel calls after sighing at Drew's childish attitude.
"Mhh?" Drew asks looking down at the laptop.
"I'm sorry," Joel repeats for what she feels is the hundredth time.
"Okay," Drew repeats herself.
Joel sighs, "can we take a break?"
"You can go if you want, I'm busy,"
Joel groans, "I'm going to the agency, I have to give in a report," she says rolling her eyes and standing.
"Wait, you're going to tell them everything?"
Joel scoffs, "you won't speak to me, so yes Drew, that's what I'll do,"
