"Plan KumJi"
Yona grabbed Nawu by the arm and gestured for the rest to follow. "I'm sorry, this will only take a little bit." Yona smiled to Captain Gi-Gan. The older female nodded and grabbed Jadira into her arms as the pirate crew began to make their way back to the ship.
"Nawu...you know of the legends of the dragons..? How come you never told me??" Yona asked frantically. Nawu shrugged, "I'd figure that you'd find out about it on yourself."
Everyone started asking questions about how Nawu was aware of their situation. But all she did was smile and say, "It's a Nawu thing."
However, there was a single question that ticked off the whole mood.
"So where is Soo-Won?" Nawu asked innocently.
Yona and Hak froze, the other members looked to them. The princess and her bodyguard looked at each other with misery. Nawu has been the closest of the group to Soo-Won. They had a special connection and were almost inseparable. That's why Yona knew that once Nawu heard of the news, Nawu would be devastated.
Yona awkwardly coughed, "Um Nana," The crimson haired girl scratched her neck and bit her lip. "I think I'll have to tell you later."
"Okay..."Nawu trailed, confused by the reaction. The little crew had decided to finally go back to the ship. Once Nawu stepped foot onto the ship, Jadira ran giggling to her. Nawu smiled, crouched down and welcomed Jadira into her arms. She picked the little girl up and played with her.
...
"D..Delicious~" Yona swooned, looking at her bowl of food.
"Of course, it's my pirate deluxe seafood soup! With all these fancy ingredients, there's no way it would be good," Yoon boasted.
"Kija thinks it's good, too." Yona added.
Kija started blabbering nonstop about how the crab from his soup was some kind of nasty insect. In contrast, Shin-ah was eating everything without complaint. Even the pirates were complimenting Yoon's cooking. And the night went on smoothly after Captain Gi-Gan explained our new mission.
...
Morning soon came and I decided to take Jadira out to the town.
"Captain~ I'm going out!" I called out and set foot off the ship. I placed Jadira down and looked at her. She'll soon be three years old in a month. It's sad to think that her loved ones won't be able to celebrate by her side.
I held her hand and walked into town. "Jadira," I began. "Do you want me to buy you something?"
Jadira looked at me and smiled, "Mommy, I want a new hair bow!"
I sighed and smiled at the young girl. "Okay then."
We entered a small shop and Jadira looked around, picking for a bow to her liking. She soon picked one out and asked me to pin her hair with it. The red hair bow complimented Jadira's dark as soot hair. Although, it seemed a little too bland.
I searched through the shop and something finally caught my eye. It was a golden (although most likely fake) rose brooch. But it looked absolutely appealing. I pinned it into the bow and showed it to Jadira.
