How You meet
You and Sam had known each other ever since you were 4 years old and are best friends since then. You were always close and nothing was able to break the two of you apart. In school the two of you were the duo that everybody wanted to be a part of and soon many thought that you were a couple, which didn't happen until much later. You even wanted to join the army with him but due to a complected broken leg, you couldn't join since you weren't able to run or do any sport for long time span. Sam still joined, after you had told him that he shouldn't give up his dream just because you couldn't join him, you were always there for him. You hang out every time he got back and helped him after the death of Riley, the two of you started to help out other veterans.

How You became a couple
Sam was the one to first talk openly about how his feeling for you had changed. It was one day after he had returned for good from active duty and you were having dinner at your home. "Y/N there is something I have given a lot of thought those last months. You can say that Riley's death was one of the breaking point for me to have this thoughts. We know each other for a long time, but well..." He said looking nervous. You raised an eyebrow, bad thoughts were quickly flying around your mind. "What thoughts Sam? Please, don't tell me they are bad?" You spoke up, looking to him with big (Y/E/C) eyes. Sam shakes his head. "No, they aren't bad. We were always close and I recently was able to clear my feelings about you. At first they were that of a friend but now I see that they had changed and become that of love and not friendly love. So... ah Y/N will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. All bad thoughts left your mind and you are glad that it wasn't only your feelings that had changed, you understood that they had changed when he first had left. "Sam, I would love to be your girlfriend." You answered and he leans over the table to kiss you.

Your first date
Your first date was a nice day were the two of you stayed home and watched every movie that popped into your minds. You bakeed cookies together and towards the end of the day he took you to a nice restaurant and a walk in a park afterwards. It ended with the two of you exhausted but satisfied cuddled and sleeping in your bed.

He catches you singing
Since the two of you had been friends for years he had seen you singing often. Since the two of you had become a couple it never happen until he returned one morning from his run. You had woken up the same time as he did but didn't got up until he had left. You quickly got ready and prepared breakfast, pancakes and coffee of course. You had on the radio station, the two of you liked to hear the news in the morning from the radio while eating. They played a few songs during a break, Baptized by Daughtry started to play. You had liked the song since the first time you had heard it.

You sang and felt arms wrap around you. "You might not be the best singer on this planet but you are the best in my world." Sam said and you smiled to him as he placed a kiss on your neck.

You are best friends with Steve and Natasha. You met Steve and Natasha after Sam had returned from a mission with them who had stayed a night at yours. To say that you were angry at first was normal, since you had no idea where Sam was and they telling you what happen didn't help. Soon you warmed up to them and you became friends.
