(At the Mansion)
(in Edna's room)
(she was sleeping with her clothes on but covered with a blanket)
(she woke up feeling disorientated)
SCENE 2
(At the mansion)
(Edna headed to Adam's room)
(he was still sleeping like babies)
(she then left quietly)
SCENE 3
(At the mansion)
(she was going down the stairs)
(she saw Ray)
(they both stared at each other)
Ray: how are you feeling?
(she paused)
Edna: I don't know...
(he felt bad)
SCENE 4
(At the mansion)
(Ray was pouring some drink in Edna's cup)
(Edna was feeling lost and placing her hands over her forehead)
(Ray gave her the cup)
Edna (chocked voice): thanks...
(she took the cup and had a sip)
(Ray was watching her)
(she took a deep breath)
(she was staring at her own hands which were holding the cup)
Edna (sad): last time I was in that mode... I lost my brother...
(Ray looked down)
(she kept looking at her hand)
Edna: I...
(she was chocked again)
(she closed her eyes tightly)
Edna: I'm a danger... To you all...
Ray (quickly): No, Miss Reed... You are not the danger around here...
(she hanged her head down with closed eyes)
Ray: it's him...
(she lifted up her head looking at Ray)
Ray: he is the reason of all of this...
Edna (sad) : he is just a helpless young man, Ray...
(Ray looked away)
(Edna looked back at the cup)
Edna: he is a mystery... But helpless..
(she looked back at Ray)
Edna: he reminds me so much of my brother, Oliver...
(she looked away)
Edna: pure, innocent... Helpless...
(she teared, closed her eyes and placed her left hand over her left eye)
Edna: but I can't stop thinking...
(she opened her eyes again)
Edna: I could have hurt him yesterday...
(she looked at Ray)
Edna (chocked voice):.... like I did to Oliver...
Ray: Miss Reed, what happened to Oliver...
(she was crying and looking at cup)
Ray:... Was not your fault...
Edna (disbelieving) : stop saying that....
(Edna quickly stood up)
(she was walking away)
(Adam was standing right in front of them)
(he was emotionless as usual but he was staring at Edna's tears)
Edna (trying to act out with a fake smile): hey, Adam...
(he looked into her eyes then he frowned for the first time since a long time)
(he looked at Ray who stood up with a look of disapproval on his face)
(he then looked back at Edna)
Edna: how was your sleeping?
(but he didn't answer)
Edna: are you alright?
(Ray took the tray with the cups then he left)
(Edna turned to Ray while leaving)
(Adam left)
(she turned to Adam)
SCENE 5
(At the music room)
(Adam wanted to play the piano)
(he placed his hands on the keys and played Edna's song but he wasn't singing)
(Edna entered)
(he played it well)
Edna (pale smile): well done
(but he didn't look at her)
(she noticed that his behaviour was different)
(she came closer to him)
Edna (gently): Adam... What's wrong?
(he slowly raised his head with frozen face)
Adam: I.. Want... To..t..tal..talk...
(she stared at him)
Adam: ri..ri..right
(she frowned)
Adam: like..you
(Edna noticed facial expressions on Adam's face for the first time)
(Adam was upset)
(then he pointed at his mouth)
Adam: b.. Bad
Edna: you don't like the way you are talking...
(he was staring with anger)
(she came and Sat beside him)
(she took a deep breath)
(she looked at the keys)
Edna: singing is the only way..
(she smiled then turned to him)
Edna: you can beat that... With singing...
Adam (determined): OK.. Okay...
(he started playing)
Adam: s.. Sin....sing
(then they both started singing)
SCENE 6
(at the mansion)
(at the music room)
(after a while)
(Edna's phone rang)
(Edna stopped playing the piano and singing)
(she checked it and it was Lucy)
Edna: Lucy..

(At Brington's School)
Lucy: hey Edna... How are you? Listen... Are you free now?
SCENE 8
(At the mansion)
(Edna frowned then she stood up)
Edna (freaked): sure... Is everything alright?
SCENE 9
(At Brington's School)
Lucy: yes... I think I found something about those things that Adam sketched the other day....
SCENE 10
(At the Mansion)
Edna (glad): great... Where can we meet, then?
SCENE 11
(in a public eatery)
(Edna was sitting at a table having a soda)
(Lucy entered with a crossed bag)
Lucy: hey
(then she Sat in front of Edna)
Edna: hey
(Lucy got the sketch outside her bag and gave it to Edna and then she showed her another piece of photocopied paper)
Edna: where did you find this?
Lucy: in one of the old books we have...
(Edna moved her eyes to Lucy)
Edna: you mean in the forbidden section of the library..
Lucy: do you really wanna talk about this now?
(Edna looked with a smirk)
Edna: so what does it say?
Lucy: according to the book...those things that Adam saw, are called Death Shifters..
(Edna was serious)
Lucy: The first and most ancient forces. They were locked behind the gates of hell using a special symbol that forbid them from breaking free...
(she brought out another photocopied paper)
Lucy: and guess what... What was the symbol?
Edna (intrigued): what?
(then Lucy showed her the other paper)
(it had the symbol of the lighting bolt and the Holy light)
(Edna was shocked)
Edna: the Symbol?
(Edna looked at her)
(Edna remembered the garden and the library)
Lucy: in Latin, it is called, the Sacred Light...it was known to be used by a group of entity warriors created from and by the pure light of the mighty ancient gods to fight the evil of the world, called, Sanctus.
Edna: hold on... Hold on....
(Lucy stared)
Edna: so those Sancros...
Lucy: Sanctus..
Edna: Sanctus... used this symbol to lock the Death Shifters in hell
Lucy: yes...
Edna: but they are here now...
(Lucy nodded)
(Edna paused)
Edna: how come they are free then?
(Lucy kept thinking)
Lucy: may be the symbol broke...
(Edna kept thinking)
Edna: how...?
Lucy: I don't know...
(they paused)
Edna: did the book say anything about defeating them?
Lucy: well....no...but it takes a Sanctus to destroy them...
Edna: well....those were during the ancient times...
(Lucy kept thinking)
Edna: Why are they here now? And... What do they want with Adam?
(they kept staring)
(Edna kept thinking)
Lucy: it also says that they take on any human shape once they devoured his soul...
(Edna paused)
(she remembered the night before when she saw the doctor and he looked evil)
Edna: oh my God
(she quickly got up)
Lucy: what's wrong?
Edna: I left Adam and Ray alone...
(she quickly turned to Lucy)
Edna: thanks a lot, Lucy...
(she took the papers and everything)
Edna: I'm going to need those
(she ran off)
SCENE 12
(On her way to the car)
Edna: Max.. Meet me at my house now...
(she hung up then went to her car)
SCENE 13
(At the mansion)
(Edna entered)
(Adam was on ground in the middle of some circle)
Edna (freaked): Adam?
(but he wasn't responding)

(Lucy was leaving the place where she was with Edna)
(he was walking outside and walking like a robot without blinking)
SCENE 15
(she went somewhere)
(Lucy was under a spell)
(she stood and gave something the book she had)
(that person took the book)
(that person was Jason)
Jason (serious voice): good job, Miss Turner.
(he looked in front)
Jason: you did as I said.
