Alison's POV

I rush into my room, I start packing my clothes in bags as fast as I can.

Ricky walks in my room.

"Does Hayden go to our school?" I ask throwing my shirt inside my bag.

"May I ask, why you care?" I see him in the corner of my eye folding his arms across his chest.

"No you can't, are you going to answer my question or am I going to have to ask him myself?" My voice is hostile. I am not in a mood to play twenty questions with him.

"No he doesn't." Crap.

"I come here on weekends right? So he will be here?"

"What are you trying to do? Make me jealous?" I stop packing and face him.

"What makes you think that? We are nothing, so how can I make you jealous." I have to stick to the plan.

"Were nothing?" He raises an eyebrow at me.

"Yup." I divert my attention back to packing.

"I guess we were nothing when we kissed as well? Is that right?" I bite lip, trying to appear nonchalant. I nod my head and put my last shirt and zip my bag.

Ricky stays silent studying me.

"I know you're up to something. first you were resistant on going, now you look in a hurry to get out."

"It's just that I am tired of fighting with people. I am more than welcome to step out of this house that has been suffocating me. It's no point in fighting with you and Kris. If you want me gone, I am gone."

"You're lying." He takes a step closer to me.

"Just because I said we are nothing? You think I want you?"

"If you didn't want me, you wouldn't have kissed me back. If I didn't want you I wouldn't have kissed you." I turn to face him.

"It was just a kiss, not a marriage proposal." A wonderful kiss.

"I see. You like the bad boys who treat you bad, like Ethan." He takes another step, before I know it he is inches away from me. "I am warning you, for your sake. Do not get involved with Hayden romantically. Trust me you will regret it." He picks up my bag and steps back.

"For my sake?" I laugh.

"Yes, your sake. If you want to date go ahead, but please, not him. I do care for you. There are...things, about him you don't know yet." I roll my eyes.

"Bullshit." I grab another one of my bags and start walking with Ricky to the car.

-.-.-.-.-.-

The whole time getting my bags, and walking back to the car, Ricky and I haven't shared one word. I feel bad, but it has to be done.

We are now exiting the mansion, and on the way home, my home.

"Sandra is on a mission, I have to wait with you at the house until she is done, then I have to get my bags."

"You never did tell me about the texts." I lean my head on the window.

"Why should I? I mean we are nothing." He snaps, I flinch at the tone.

"I'm sorry. We can still be friends, you can tell me things." I take my head off the window and look at his expression. His lips are in a hard line, he is gripping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles are turning white.

"Out of all the girls I know, you are the most complicated one." He sighs and relaxes. His grip on the steering wheel loosening. "Your car is repaired, you can't use it, unless you are driving with your mother or me in the car, or we are following you. Don't want you running telling the cops." I glare at him.

"How dare you think I would run and tell the cops! The people I love are in the business, the last thing I want is to send them to jail!"

"You need to understand something, Alison." He pulls over on the side if the road, and turns to me. "it's not that we don't trust you, everyone else doesn't. They can overthrow Kris, if they wanted to. It makes them angry that he is even letting you out here. We have tons of complaints. The only way Kris thought would make them feel more safe is if he has someone watching you. Got that? Before you be a spoiled little brat and tell me off, make sure you got all the details. All I did for you is try to help you and all I hear from you are complaints. A simple thank you shall suffice." I don't know what to say. We are just looking at each others eyes, until he sighs and starts the car. "with that said, let's continue our little journey, shall we? Unless you have something to say."

"Thank you." I mumble laying back in my seat. Ricky smiles and pulls back into the road.

"You're welcome."

-.-.-.-.-

We are now at my house, the whole ride back was quiet as usual.

I see my car parked in the drive way.

Ricky gets out of the car. He hurries to my side and opens my door. I get out if the car, pretending his gesture didn't bother me.

For some reason I just don't like guys opening the door for me. It was just weird.

"Thanks." I mumble. He shuts the door when I am out and opened the trunk and grabs two suitcases. I mimicked his actions and we walk into the house.

The familiar aroma of cinnamon invades my nostrils. I missed this house.

Ricky and I walk back to my room bags in our hands.

When we get in I am greeted with my room, exactly how I left it, except my clothes gone out of my closet.

Ricky and I set the bags down on my bed and awkwardly stand.

"I am sorry, for blowing up on you in the car. It was petty of me." Ricky says, shocked I look up at him with wide eyes.

"Why are you sorry, you are right I was acting like a spoiled brat." I sigh. "I have secrets of my own, Ricky. One you will find out soon, but not yet, maybe not ever."

"Did I just hear you right? You have a secret? I guess we rubbed off on you."

"I am happy you did. If none of this happened, I would probably still be with Ethan, and I would have no backbone." Ricky frowns.

"What do you want to do?" He changes the subject.
