summary.
"I thought that killing those people
would make things work, but it
didn't. I feel like shit, and I blame
you for what I did. You made me
this way. You made me think that
was okay. But it wasn't, and now
you're dead to me."

or

Michael never thought that he was
incapable of being in love, but soon
enough he met a boy that changed
that.

extended summary.

FINN BLACKWELL USED TO
BE A  normal kid. He went to high school, was on the football team, and had several scholarships lined up for him. He had plans to go to Harvard and become a criminal justice major. But plans change. Which is exactly what happened when he met Michael Langdon.

The two were so different, but yet so similar, and that caused Finn to trust him far too soon. It didn't take long before the Blackwell boy was drowning in his feelings for the boy, and he hated himself for putting his heart all into someone. Michael knew how Finn felt about him, and used it to his advantage. He could have Finn do unspeakable, inhuman things, and all he had to do was ask. But Finn comes to his senses after the two get into a fight, and Michael takes off, never to be seen again.

Until the world has come to an end and they're brought back together at Outpost 3.

additional notes.

Finn is naive when it comes to Michael. He thinks that if he does the bad things that Michael asks him to, it will make him reciprocate the feelings.

• The story starts off at the Outpost, when Michael arrives, and then goes into pre-apocalypse plot. It ends at the Outpost.

• Finn isn't a warlock. But he does see and hear ghosts. He enjoyed killing his victims in the heat of the moment, but their voices never went away. They haunted him, which lands him in a mental hospital before the apocalypse.

• Michael does genuinely love and care for Finn, he was just bad at showing it. He was the one that made sure that Finn was brought to the outpost.

• Finn is suicidal. He wished that he was left to die instead of being brought to the outpost. He does self harm, and made sure that Michael never knew about it because he wouldn't understand.

• The suicidal thoughts and tendencies come from his past. Michael, his family, and being signed off as a "psychopath."
