when adena quella first felt the burning embers at the tips of her finger tips the little girl didn't know all the horrible things that could come from it. the little witch kept her powers hidden until she couldn't anymore. and once her strict christian family finds out what their daughter really is they immediately think she's possessed by the devil.

the devil himself could only give her these in human powers. this was not a gift but a curse she was born with. and after many baptism's and unnecessary exorcism's the girl is holding on by a string. her faith in god gone, her hatred for herself there.

when she can't take it anymore, her anger and hurt boiling up, it ends with her church going up in flames and everyone inside burning until all that is left is their bones covered in ash.

and there's only one thing on her mind after doing such a monstrous act; ending her own life. so she tips back a bottle of pills and goes to the riverbank, her body soon going lifeless and floating to the bottom of the river.

if the devil himself had created her she was now gone from his grasps. her curse has destroyed everything and everyone she had ever known, all she had left was death.

but, what she doesn't know is the devil has other plans for her..

this is no offense or anyway dissing those who believe in god or are of christian faith, this just explores how intense and how crazy some christian cults can be and is no way dissing the religion.

but adena's parents are super christian and in a crazy christian cult which is why when they find out their daughter has powers they quickly think she possessed by the devil.

however you want to play out michael saving her is up to you, he can get a message from the devil to go get her from hell and or when he is saving misty he feels a gravitational pull to go another door to get her, this can work for when he saves madison and queenie too or maybe she's the first witch he's saved.

since michael is the antichrist and ya know bad he's gonna convince her that her actions were right and ok and that fuck people and that she should use her powers for bad, as kind of a revenge for her family treating her like a monster all her life.

and he obviously convinces her and he uses her for his benefit and when it comes to fighting the other witches he thinks he's got it on lock since he has her.

also to add conflict you can have her meet cordelia and her tell her how her powers are amazing and can be used for good so it makes her conflicted because she is loyal to michael and has those feelings but she's not 100% bad.
