astaroth, in demonology, is the great duke of hell in the first hierarchy, along with lucifer and beelzebub, being part of the evil trinity.
astaroth can have various nicknames for more informal use in this story, such as astar, ash, roth or star.
to descripe astaroth, he is frankly a very cocky and proud male, taking pleasure in alochol and sexual interraction, and at first, he would be rather amused he was the one sent to protect and teach michael.
the plot will be going around an idea that balances between sweet casual moments of domestic interractions between astaroth and michael, but also hell drama, with a lot of blood sacrifice and certain trials astaroth prepares for young michael.
i see their relationship be rather violent and cute at the same time, as at first, michael is simply just stunned by a demon and the world he is introduced to so carefully.
