summary.

❝Although perhaps I ignorantly range
and court opinion in my deep'st unrest.
But whether doth the stream of my mischance
drive me beyond myself, fast friend, soon lost,
long may thy worthiness thy name advance
amongst the virtuous and deserving most
who herein hast forever happy proved:
In life thou lived'st, in death thou died'st beloved.❞

After the downfall of the notorious Ridgewood family - dark magic wasn't in use as much. Witches that once craved the power of suffering, pain and death changed their ways. They were thriving to become something more, and that Adele. Being one of the only living in the family where their dark practices went back thousands of years, she was utterly frustrated when she found out. Her constant chants and sacrifices going down the drain for people she once considered a family.

Most think it was almost like a cult; people coming together to worship their gods down below and praise them - please them in different ways. Adele's grandmother had said that she was their queen, leading followers in the right direction to please Satan. And for a moment, she was right before Michael Langdon paid Adele a visit - steering her into the path she once feel off of. This time it became a little more extreme than the other, and she loved it.

extra.

adele is power hungry

• most of her family is dead beside her grandmother who's kind of a little crazy

• this is based on ' a funeral elegy' by william shakespeare which applies to the entire plot

• this takes place around when michael is attending Hawthorne School For Exceptional Young Men

• adele should fear him at first since she knows exactly who he is by hearing her grandma talk about how powerful the antichrist is

• this is a slow burn, adele is hesitant to get to know someone who's a little bit more evil and stronger than her

• you should go into adele's backstory a little bit more to explain how her family became such users of dark magic

• this is mostly about just the way how one can be so blind to power that they don't realize how it's destroying people around them.

• pm me if you have any other questions or ideas.
