wearing a crown of canopy,
the sturdy timber rose to height
firmly held via terrestrial tether
arms widespread like majestic wings,
flourishing through generations
changing alongside seasonal spells
while sheltering birds' abodes,
play houses and tire swings
that moved to-and-fro
delightfully with the draught,
rustling up sweet whispers,
collecting sparkling sunbeams
as it filtered into emerald cores
breathing life for us all.Challenge 4 : Description Poem (ec_poetry)
