The Unperfectly Perfect Life

Prolouge

I looked up at the clouded sky through the car windows and watched as delicate snow flakes danced down the ground. I glanced over at my boyfriend Anthony. he had velvet brown hair with irresistible baby blue eyes.

He continued driving and put the car in park. After that, the silence became thick but I don't know why. He put his hand for ward and turned the heater up, which made a warm gust of wind blow towards me, causing me to shiver.

"So we've been dating for a while now and I think we're ready for-" he said but I interrupted.

"We are not having sex. I'm not ready." I replied quickly.

"-the next step." he finished.

"Oh" I said a bit embarrassed.

He unbuckled and walked to the other side of the car. I watched as he opened the door and offered me his hand.

"Milady Sky." he said as if he were a prince.

"You don't have to call me by my middle name right?" I asked

"You know it's kinda our thing."

"Okay, Jones." I said taking his hand.

When I stepped out I took his other hand and went on my tip toes and have him a light kiss on the lips. I looked around the park and realized where I was.

"This is where we met." I said.

I examined the grass sheeted with white snow and a light layer of ice covered the pond. The place seemed different though. It didn't seem as the place where I met the love of my life, it seemed as though it was the place where I will lose everything. my friends, and family.

I turned around to face Anthony and found him kneeling on one knee. I smiled knowing where this is going.

"Tiffany, will you honor me by being my wife?" he asked.

"Yes!" I shouted, as tears of joy sprang from my eyes. "yes I will."

He put the ring on my finger and I pulled it closer to my face to examine it. There was a Diamond stone with a silver rim holding in place while there was something engraved in the band of it. Jones + Sky. I smiled as I read it.

"Jones and Sky." I smiled brightly looking at Anthony. "I love it."

He stood up and I stood on my tippy toes as I kissed him more passionately. when we needed to catch air we put our foreheads together not breaking eye contact.

"Forever-" I said.

"-and Always." he finished.

"I have something for you." he said walking to his car. he grabbed a necklace that had a pendant on it. when he put it around my neck I inspected it. It was a silver circle that rested right where my heart is. on the silver circle is an 'A' and a 'T' intertwined together. then I saw it was a locket. on the inside there was a picture of us together on our first date.

He had taken me to the beach. The sun shined in the bright blue sky with no cloud in sight. That day we talked about the most random things on a picnic blanket. the food we had was sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries and orange juice that his mom made us bring. I was dressed in a light see through white dress that came to mid thigh and was spaghetti strapped. underneath you could see a blue-green bikini. I wore white strapped sandals that was water proof. I had worn my hair in a high pony tail so my hair was out of the way.

Anthony wore swim shorts that went to his knees. he didn't wear a shirt so I could see his abs clearly. in the photo we were sitting on the picnic blanket. he sat with his legs straight out while I was on his lap with my legs out to the left. He put his arms around my stomach and he smiled beside me as my hair perfectly blew in the wind.

In the other picture, it caught us while he was picking me up and spinning me around. I was kicking while I was grinning ear to ear. While I was admiring the necklace I heard a loud honk and headlights blinded me.

What happened went in slow motion. I covered my eyes the instant the light made contact with them. I was frozen as it came towards me. The hood hit my right hip and I flipped over the hood, windshield the top of the car and the trunk, leaving me on the concrete, hitting my back hard and having the air knocked out of me.

Anthony rushed to my side and started putting pressure on my stomach. I'm guessing to stop the bleeding but I was completely numb, except for the pain that shot through me flipping over the car.

"Are you okay?" he sobbed.

I knew the out come wouldn't end well.

"No i'm not. but I'm numb so I can't feel anything." I said hoarsely.

"HELP SOMEBODY!" he yelled.

"Shh, Anthony. help is coming. please don't shout." I said lightly.

"I c-c-can't loose y-you." he stuttered out while crying.

"Remember what we say,"

"Forever and always. I don't want this to be our end."

"Then it won't be."

My surrounding started to blur and go black. I could hear drowned out sirens close by and could see an ambulance pull up beside us.

"I love you. Forever and always." I said as clearly as I could.

A blurry figure hovered above me and Anthony. all I could make out was blonde hair and green eyes.

I coughed and could feel warm liquid trickle down my chin, the copper taste of blood filled my mouth. Anthony grabbed ahold of my hand and sobbed softly into it as I layed my head down to the side and everything faded to black.

I hope that's a good start.. Who likes the cover? if anyone is good at making covers or if anyone can think of a better title, i'm all ears.
