"Amber?" I heard someone say, I wasn't sure everything was muffled and distorted. "Amber!" I heard it once more, this time I couldn't ignore it. I looked up, annoyed at whoever had woken me up.
"Good, you're awake," the voice said, it sounded familiar but I couldn't put my finger on who's it was. "Now hurry up and get changed," she threw clothes at my face, by now, I knew it was my roommate Sandra.
"Sandra, it's the morning, why are you being such a pain?" I mumbled as I sat up, the clothes falling of my head and into my lap. I rubbed my eyes and looked at her aimlessly.
"You really don't remember what day it is?" Sandra questionably said. Her eyebrow was raised and I was unsure why.
"Is it my birthday?" I asked her stupidly, yesterday was my birthday, I remember because of all that alcohol we drank.
"Do you want me to smack you 'till you're dead?" She said in an annoyed tone, she looked even more annoyed. She sighed and shook her head, "You're going back to Korea."
I blinked once or twice before I could answer, "Korea?" I looked at my calendar, surely enough today had been circled with a red marker. I immediately sprang out of bed and started rushing to get things ready. "What time is it?!" I asked hurriedly.
I hear Sandra making a tsk tsk sound, "You need to leave," she looked at the clock, "now." She motioned to the bags next to her, they were mine. She had gotten everything ready as I was dozing off. I smiled widely before running into her, hugging her as our bodies hit.
"You're the best!" I squealed as I grabbed my bags and ran towards the door. "Bye Sandra! I'll send you letters and call you every night."
She laughed and just waved.

I looked up at the sign that read, Dulles Airport. It'd been a while since I've gone in one of these. I realized I didn't have time and fast walked towards the entrance with my fuzzy pajamas. I didn't have time to change into something else, but in a way I'm glad, it's a long flight and frankly I was still tired. I had to weave through a swarm of tourists, and rush through security check, just to make it in the last second. That was way too much running in just the morning. But finally I got on the plane, surprisingly I was greeted by two empty seats, meaning I had two seats for myself. Yes! I thought as I smiled widely. I jumped onto my seats with the middle arm resters up so I wouldn't break anything. Somehow the world hates me enough to still hurt me. I felt a pain on my neck, something that couldn't be part of a seat. I brought my hand up to the spot where it hurt and grabbed whatever was there. It was the corner of a charm on a necklace that was jammed between the seat and the wall. It looked kind of expensive, so I just shrugged and kept it. It could be useful for later...I guess. As for the rest of the ride, it contained throwing up, sleep, and more throwing up. I knew I shouldn't have drank carelessly.

The first thing I saw was the female flight attendant, she was shakng me, it made me sick.
"Miss? Miss we've arrived, please wake up," she sounded irritated yet she still had a smile on her face. I would hate to have that job. I groaned and tried to shoo her away, which made her angry. She grabbed my arm and pulled me up. "We're here, Miss," she said once more, now her teeth clenched.
I sighed and swung my feet over the seat and looked around, I was the last person left. I rubbed my eyes, grabbed my bags, and stumbled across the aisle. The world seemed like it was spinning, yet I was being given the death stare by some lady I don't know, so I had no choice but to keep moving. I let out a sigh and decided to squint so things became clearer, it worked but now my head hurt. I never have a good day, do I?
Eventually I made it to the main lobby, but something was amiss. It was louder then usual, even though the usual was quite loud. I looked around, suitcase in hand, and found the center of all the ruckus. It was someone, a boy, who looked like someone I knew or know. I shook my head, No way I know someone of that status. He was surrounded by fans and photographers, trying to make his way towards the entrance. I looked a little longer and realized it wasn't only him, there were four other guys. Band, that was my guess. I shrugged and walked to where the commotion was, not because I was interested but because the entrance was my destination as well.
It was a horrible experience, all the pushing and the shoving, all the screaming and the flashes, they were all too much. I left the crowd feeling worse than before, really I felt like throwing up. Little did I know that I would actually throw up. I rushed to the nearest trash can and did what was inevitable. No attention was directed to me, none. Kpop turns these girls into savages.
