Unknown- "Step forward please."
I was nervous. Mostly because today was my 15th birthday which meant that it was testing day. Long ago are Earth was overrun by Aliens to which I never knew existed.
But all this time they where living amongst us. Watching and Observing our every move to determine when they could come and take over. I was five when they came, now I'm 15 and waiting to be placed into my true faction. There are four factions that I know of, one of them being the Earth Faction which is where I grew up.
The Earth Faction teaches us how to grow plants and take care of the necessary food supply that we get from animals. The next section is fire, that has to be the number one faction I did not wish to join even though my sister Hazel was transferred to that section. The reason I don't want to join that one is because that section is to train people who are capable of fighting, and if I'm being honest I'm not a fighter. I'm just a shy girl who wishes to stay with her mother but for some strange reason I have a feeling that won't happen.
Anyway the third Faction is Water, to which I know nothing about along with air do to me not really doing my research on them. I only did my research on The Fire Faction since my sister was transferred there.
Unknown- "Next."
I tensed as I nervously looked towards my mom in fear as she gave me a reassuring smile. Taking a deep breath I take a step forward only to freeze as I saw the beautiful Alien before me. If I'm being honest here, this is the first time that I actually met an Alien without any armor on.
Unknown- "Please state your name and faction while you give me your hand."
"U-Um m-my name is Teal Warren and I'm currently in Earth section A." I grimaced as I felt the edge of the cold blade cut deeply into my hand making my blood slowly drip down onto the strange holographic pad she held in her hands making it make a strange beeping sound.
As she typed a few things in I couldn't help but examine her beauty making me feel less confident in myself as her soft looking black hair shined in the suns rays through the clear glass windows making me bite my bottom lip as her unnatural blue eyes flowed for a split second as her mouth opened and closed before she pressed the green button that was just on the right side of her hand making me a bit confused as she muttered under her breath making it difficult for me to hear what she said.
"Um I'm sorry but I couldn't quite hear you? Did you say I'm still in the Earth Faction?" Hope was all that I could feel until she shook her head no making me frown deeply as two large guards dressed in black armor stood on each side of me completely surprising me as they grabbed both my arms roughly eliciting panic to overcome me.
