I can't live like this. Not anymore. It just hurts to much to be near her when I know she will never accept me as a mate. It's practically killing me inside every time I see her flirting with anyone she finds attractive, not to mention she hates me now for going through her phone but can you blame me? I just need a hint, anything at all that tells me she feels the same way but I barely got the chance to even read half of her messages she sends to her friends. I hate myself, out of everybody in the whole world my sister is the one who's my true mate. Sometimes I really hate being a wolf Fauna's after all only wolf Fauna's can find there true mate when they turn the age of 15 but sometimes the search for ones mate lasts a lot longer then that.

"Hey Imra Wait up!"

I stop immediately as I watch my best friend Ava rush towards me making me smile weakly towards her as she arched an eyebrow at me curiously.

Ava- "Either your parents are fighting again or you still haven't told Faye she's your mate?"

"It's actually a bit of both this time." Why couldn't my mate be my human best friend? I mean she's cute with her medium length blonde hair and bright blue eyes...

Life just isn't fair for me.

As we entered the school I was immediately stopped by Safire one of my sisters friends making me a bit confused as her pale gray eyes held determination and nervousness in them as she twirled her jet black hair making me groan to myself already knowing where this was going.

Ava

I watch as Riley starts to flirt with Imra making me a bit annoyed since I know Imra would never go for her I mean yes both Imra and Faye are hot bit seriously can you not get the hint? I mean her wolf ears practically fold back whenever she's irritated. But given Imras distractedness Maybe I can finally help Imra I'm confessing her love for her sister. Sure amongst humans it's wrong but I don't know what the alien rule was about sisterly love.

Ava- "Hey Faye Wait up!" I could tell by the look on her face she wasn't in the mood to talk but it had to be done.

Faye- "What do you want Ava? I'm not in the mood."

Ava- "well you know how wolf Fauna's find there mate at the age of 15 or more?" She nodded her head not really knowing where I was going with this until I glanced towards Imra who was still talking with Safire. I waited a few moments of silence until realization dawned on her.

Faye- "No fucking way this is great!"

Ava- "Not the reaction I expected you to have since your technically her sister but..."

Faye- "No wonder she was looking through my phone this morning, she just wanted to see if she felt the same way!"

Ava- "Huh?" I watch in surprise as she rushed towards Imra and Safire in excitement as she grasped her sisters hands happily.

Faye- "you know you could have told me you found your true mate, but you don't have to be so worried about it because she feels the same way about you!"

I could see hope flash through Imra's eyes making me shrink as I slowly stepped back from the scene.

Faye- "It's alright Imra now I realized why you where going through my phone without my permission and I can't tell you how excited I am!

Imra

I was a bit confused at what my sister was trying to say. At first I thought she found out that she was my mate but now I'm not to sure.

Faye- "Safire is your mate isn't she?!"

My hope evaporated as I looked at Safire with disgust on my face as her face turned a bright red while anger bubbled through me.

Imra- "Your an idiot! She's not my mate! What kind of idea did that come from?!" I watch as sadness formed into Safires pale gray eyes making my heart ache a bit as Faye looked towards Ava in confusion as she slowly backed up before freezing at everybody's stares.

Tears threatened to spill as I glared harshly at Faye as she stared at me in confusion.

Imra- "I HATE YOU!" I ran out of the school and towards my mothers work hoping that she would grant me my wish of switching schools and living by myself. I can't handle seeing her anymore, not without my heart breaking.

I quickly made my way towards my step moms work completely surprising her as I bursted into her office in a panting mess.

"What are you doing here Imra? Shouldn't you be in school?"

Imra- "I want to move out and go to a new school!" I say confidently making her tilt her head to the side in contemplation.

"I'm sorry but I cannot allow that. If I where to allow you to leave that would hurt your mom really bad and I hate seeing her sad."

Imra- "Your such a Hypocrite! You make mom sad every day just by hitting her!"

"I hit her for a reason."

Imra- "You always have a reason and for whatever that reason being is stupid! Mom is sweet kind and gentle and you make her feel horrible!"

"Because she wants to leave and explore the world!"

Imra- "Huh? So why don't you let her do that?"

"You know very well why I won't let her do that. If I let her do whatever she wants she will leave and get herself killed. Now is that something you want to happen?"

I shook my head no sadly as I felt my ears droop.

"Look your mother is stubborn which is why I hit her every time she try's to walk out that front door... I just don't want her ending up dead like the other 12 human girls we found just last week. So tell me, Why do you want to change schools so badly?"

Imra- "It's nothing."

"I can't give you what you want without a good explanation."

Imra- "Faye's my mate!" Tears started to roll down my eyes as surprise was show on my step mothers face.

Imra- "You and I both know that Faye will never feel the same for me, especially with both of us being sisters."

"You know your aunt and I where destined to be together until we found true mates here on Earth."

My eyes widened in surprised as I tried to picture Aunt Lexa and my mom together making me scrunch up my nose in disgust.

Imra- "It would never work out. The humans are against siblings dating let alone getting married, not to mention Faye hates me."

"I see your point. Very well, I'll still have to talk to your mom about switching schools but there's no way she will let you live on your own you are her child after all. In the meantime why don't you go back home for the day and rest while I send a quick message to your mom, sound good?"

I nod my head weakly as I made my way out of her office thinking to myself. Well that went better then I thought it would. I still don't like the fact she's hitting mom I mean surly there has to be another way for her to work things out with mom?
