The Beginning of a new story

Anya

"Rio tell me, what's going on with her?!"

Rio- "Her water broke and she's going into labor."

Hazel & Teals mom- "My baby is pregnant? But she's only 16!"

Confusion crossed my face as I looked towards Teals mom questionably.

"I thought Teal was 15."

Hazel & Teals mom- "Her birthday was last week. I was going to have celebrated it with her but she said she couldn't leave her faction grounds."

I felt angry at myself for not getting to know Teal better. I mean I should have known when she was born along with her favorite color but I just felt angry all the time for something that needed to be let go.

And now I may never get the chance to know Teal.

Rio- "She's growing weak and is unable to push the baby out. I have no choice but to do a C section but in order to do that she'll need blood, lots of it."

I give Teals mother a commanding look making her frown deeply.

"What is Teals blood type?"

Hazel & Teals mom- "She's O negative."

Rio- "O negative is a rare blood type. Are you or Hazel compatible with her?"

Hazel & Teals mom- "If I remember correctly Hazel and I are both B positive."

Rio- "That won't work... Heaven?"

I look toward Heaven with hope as she stood by Lexa's side nervously.

Heaven- "I'm sorry but I'm AB Negative."

Taking a deep breath as I look at Teals helpless pale body I walk towards Rio confidently as I reluctantly held out my arm.

"In Arcadia are blood was able to heal one another. But in order to do so we needed permission from the council, it could be the same for humans."

Rio- "Maybe. But is that a risk your willing to take?"

"Yes. I love her and I do not wish to loose her so please, take as much as you need." Rio gave me a sympathetic look as she began to work.

I just hope Teal would make it through.

Teal

I could hear mumbled voices around me making me groan as I slowly blinked my eyes open. Only to immediately screw them shut by the blinding white light shining in my eyes.

"Your awake. I'm glad."

"A-Anya? How long have I been out is Vera ok?" I slowly open my eyes only to be met with beautiful golden ones making me a bit relaxed as I saw Anya's small smile making me a bit confused since she never smiled.

It suited her.

"She's fine. But now that your awake there has been someone who has been waiting to meet you."

All I could feel was confusion and relief just by knowing Vera was still alive.

All of a sudden I was completely startled by two little girls who looked to be about three years old making me all the more curious on who they where as I begin to examine them in keen interest.
